I really like your foot works. You stay in position of your foot controls to get the job done with smooth effort. It looks good because you always place your footing as though to prevent a mishap like a missed shift. Your feet looking second nature for smoother transition and anticipation.

Great riding ... and how different from an old guy's perspective! Stefano - you might know and be able to answer me a question. Back the first year that ERA was founded (I think 1973, and before it became WERA) things really changed for East Coast club racers. Going from an AAMRR race every 6 weeks spread out all across the north-eastern states, all of a sudden (I lived in the N. Virginia area then) we could go to Nelson Ledges, or Bridgehamton, NJMP, VIR, Summit Point, Road Atlanta, Charlotte -- it was almost a race a week and that's not counting the occasional Loudon, Daytona, and other "once a year" opportunities. So we did (yeah, the kids were nookin futtz back then too). But come to the schedule there was a gap of about 3 - 4 weeks when the word went around "there's a non-ERA, non-AAMRR race outside of Savanna in two weeks -- wanna go???" And we were thinking, "not Road Atlanta or Talladega -- OK, we've heard about Sebring, and Palm Beach, and raced at Daytona in Florida but a track in coastal Georgia? Is it an oval, or an airport track, or some kind of NASCAR track?" And the answer came back "no, it's a proper road course, it's been around for a while; it was set up by local SCCA clubs in the late 50s or early 60s". So, a bunch of us piled racing bikes into a couple of vans and headed out. And low and behold when we got there, it was a sweet little track. Not super long and obviously not recent paving but the course surface was in great condition, There was little there but the course itself - no buildings, hardly anything but a pit road with the grass mown on either side off the track itself; in some ways, it felt a little like a slighty-smaller Summit Point layout. And the track was fun, the turns could be tight but they had interesting elevation and camber changes for flat-land Georgia and some fun radius changes. The super friendly people around, the organizers and racers (mostly people that we knew from the Daytona mid-week "amateur" races, or Road Atlanta, or Charlotte, the good weather -- I'm thinking late spring, now that I let my old mind wander, so it would have probably been spring of '74 - and the fun and interesting track itself made it a weekend worth driving all night Friday and Sunday nights for. But we just didn't hear of another race opportunity there (and before too long, I got a job offer overseas), and so it slipped off our radar. Now, I look around and I hear of Roebling -- is RRR a continuation or rebirth of that "Savanah Race Course" from the 60s and 70s or something completely differetn? Is there anybody who's old enough to have been around and can talk about the "old days" of motorcycle road racing in coastal Georgia? It was made for a great memory to go down there in the early 70s and it's good to see the activity there now (and the other tracks available in N. Georgia and S. Carolina now, too.) Sorry to derail your super video, but it would sure be nice to know the history of RRR. Thanks, Bb
