Yes, there is. One in Praia da Vitória and another in Angra do Heroísmo, this last one is inside the building from where the drone takes over and lands. It's the Centro Cultural e de Congressos de Angra do Heroísmo. There is one more movie theather in Angra do Heroísmo, but it's not a comercial movie teather (it's on the hands of a movie fans association). The movie teathers have been closed, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but they opened again this month and I hope that forever!

@@azoresdronefootage1500 Yes, when I come to visit. .part of the great take away is watching a movie at the theater so when I come back home and see the movie it brings back good memories of vacationing. I know Caldeira das Lajes and I would also like to fly over it with the drone, but, unfortunately, it is forbidden to fly drones in that area, because it's to close to the airport. Sorry! @@azoresdronefootage1500 wow. .I just saw it. .awesome. I did see the house/land plot that I was born at the hairpin turn in Caldeira on your motorcycle trip. This is the first video I've seen posted going down that road. I had returned to Terceira after being away 45 years back in 2018 and recorded some video. Hello! Sorry for the delay in replying and sorry too for my English. It is not my native language. First, the bad news. I cannot do drone flights at that location (Serra de Santiago, also called Serra do Facho) because of the airport that is nearby. Now for the good news! I was talking to some people and maybe your photo shows the concrete base of an old whale watch that possibly existed in the Sierra de Santiago. It seems that there are reports that there were two whale watchers in that mountain range, but whose location was unknown. Until about 1984, whaling was done on the Azores Islands (on Terceira Island it has not been made at least since the seventies of the last century). Perhaps your photograph is based on one of them. The marks you see there drawn would be the cardinal points and the respective degrees. When a whale watcher saw a whale in the sea, he communicated the apparent distance of the whale in relation to land and also the longitude, so that whale hunters would know where to go to find it in the sea. It makes no sense for someone to put a sundial next to a cliff, in a place where few people would go and just for work reasons. @@azoresdronefootage1500 Awesome! Many thanks in advance. I think you may be correct regarding the marks. It is now clear that those are degree lines. I can see there are prominent lines at the 45/90/135/180/225/270/315/360 degree marks on the top. That proves it's not a sundial or millstone. The lines probably point to North/East/South/West.

Hello again! I was on the road in that area today, but I didn't go through the pastures because everything was wet and sometimes it rained. However, I think I already found the place on the road you came from underneath and the place you went down to the whale watch. Take a look at this video of a motorcycle tour, which is from another one of my TH-cam channels (th-cam.com/video/F4wtTEf7wj8/w-d-xo.html). The place where you arrived on this road I think is what you see on the left at 5 minutes and 42 seconds of the video, between two electricity poles. The place to get to that whale watch is to jump over the pasture wall on the right at five minutes and twenty-five seconds. I will try to go there when the weather is good. It may take sometime. The weather conditions on this Winter are not the best ones.
