For the 15 days cooling off period, is this business days M-F or including weekends? Thanks a mil
as far as I'm aware, it includes weekends!
Thanks man i found this video the only useful video regarding this topic 👍
Very welcome my friend! any questions on it please fire them at me 🙏
Yeah so if you have failed a test it says on rsa that you have to wait 10 weeks but you said 15 days which is it so I know when to get a canncellation
@@virtualdrivinginstructor can you answer ???
@@ConorDownes-v8v What he means is after the 15 days Cool down period you can then see cancellation spots. This doesn't guarantee you get one but you have the chance to. The waiting time to get invited again is 8-12 weeks depending on the center. Hope this helps bud
@colindevlin4567 thanks very much man that's helps a lot appreciate you 👍
Be cool to see some videos with autistic/ADHD learners
7:57 just after tipping the curb is comedic level faces.
If I'm already on the waiting list then go to book a cancellation, will I have to pay twice? Or will it recognize that I've already paid to be on the waiting list and just let me book it without paying again?
it'll let you book without paying again, once you pay your account is in credit, if you aren't on the waiting list you would have to pay once you see the cancellations!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hope you find it useful!
Was definitely nervous but good driver
I must say this is closer to the Croatian driving test, while the UK driving test is kind of its own thing
Great video, quick question when overtaking parked cars , if we see there is gap car can pass but not 1 meter gap and there is oncoming vechile as well like in video . Do we stop and let them pass first or move slowly , suppose we have seen the car before starting overtake. The gap is similar what we have in video where oncming car is there and you suggested to slow.
Perfect video! Thanks for sharing this video
Hi when bus pull over like this for passenger can I overtake bus on continue/solid white line in the middle of the road instead broken line ..thank you
Love ur videis have my test today in kilester
If I join the waiting list and paid, can I still look for cancellations? And if I find one in the same test center, will I have to pay again? Thanks
You don’t have to pay again once your on a waiting list and go on a cancellation list it doesn’t matter you still paid your fee
No you won't have to pay again, if someone is not on the waiting list, they pay when they pick a cancellation, if they are already on the waiting list, they don't have to pay for a cancellation since they paid already 🙏
Great videos. I always watch the UK mock tests and driving lessons but as I am from Dublin too I am glad to see someone doing videos like this for Ireland. Not many For these kinds of videos it would be better if you don't show the answer with the sign so viewers (like me) can have a guess before you show the answer
I'm so happy you're finding it helpful! I did actually have blank answers in mind, but I didn't leave myself much room between the answer and the next sign! but I'll be taking this advice on for the next theory quiz 🙏
Hi could u do a video on the process of booking a test, the centre from your opinion that has a high pass rate. Thank u
I will make this the next video 🙏

Your content is great, man. Keep up the good work.
gentleman! What you think I should do next? more theory, road situation, tutorials on correct driving for the exam? really egar to see what everyone wants 😂
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
🙌🙌🙌
Thank you very much for sharing your experience in this video! found it very useful and will definitely watch it again and again. My instructor’s car is a Nissan juke and the parking brake will be released while adding gas when moving off. This video did help me know how to use the “gas > bite” method for Juke for a quicker start up (hasn’t covered this skill by my instructor for the moment) 🍀😃
You're very welcome! the Nissans can have a very sensitive accelerator... so press gently if this is the case for you as a little does a lot. if it's a disel, you may not need as much gas as they usually have great torque, which aids in a nice move off 😊 we have some on gears coming very, very soon 🙏
Really should have been stated in the video, but the signal points directly into the side of the road, and being stationary, that means something completely different than someone driving up to a turn.
Not sure I fully understand you, are you talking about the signal moving off?
Uselss stuff.
Useful for people doing their driving test 🚗
I have never needed to reverse around a corner. It's not even in the Australian driving test, and for the above reason.
What do yous have to do on the Australian test? 😊
Wooow that’s such an annoying way to lose a mark.
It makes sense. If I'm coming up behind a statinary vehicle with a left signal on I believe it's staying parked. The right signal is a must to signal to other road users what you are going to do next. Moving off.
very frustrating, you can understand someone missing it when under so much pressure from a tester. and being so close to the end of the road
Couldn't have said it better myself 🙏
🚙🚙very helpful🙃
Any more content you'd like to see on this page?
If you’ve got any sense of parking this video is completely irrelevant and even If your a bit off you can always realign
I teach people how to drive! 🚗 the goal is to reach those who struggle with it
After overtaking when you move back should we give left indicator or not required?
Not required! Just check the left mirror when coming back in 🙌
@@virtualdrivinginstructor thanks 😊
I passed my test here in Ireland🇮🇪(Mullingar) on 4th time, but hey people do not forget.Yes it's great when you pass your test from the very 1st time, and save all extra money, time, etc..Don't get me wrong, but it's even better on other hand when u pass from 2,3rd..coz you gonna LEARN and fix these mistakes. After passing the test, don't try to be boss and thinking you owning the road and showing your friends you finally have licence, be smart, be good driver. Never give up if or after/ you fail. NEVER STOP LEARNING !
This is such a beautiful comment! You should absolutely never stop learning, you will always meet new situations and have to keep expanding on your skill. Did you still feel quite new on the road after passing?
@@virtualdrivinginstructor Thank you for your lovely words☺️.Exactly, even though we all might drive the same road xxxx times a day, week, as you mention, there will be always some odd situation that can appear from nowhere. Yes indeed i did. After passing my test i still did not feel confident in myself as much as i was really happy to have my 1st driving licence. Wasn't suprised with myself as i was NEW driver on the road and i knew(as beginner) how to drive but still i was bit careful.I learned as much as I drive on the road, i gonna be better and better, and that's the truth.I can say ,I am more confident(now it's over a year since i passed and it took me 2 months at least-after passing) and i still drive by rules.I mean, within speed limits.I know a very few people after passing the test, they think they owning the road and they drive like they want, blabla..but i wanna be safe driver as much as possible. 1 more year and N-plate is gone🥳.
Ive my theory tmr so im using your videos to learn bits and tbf its really informative and after watching this video ive learned alot i didnt know
I'm so glad to hear! Did you pass? 😁
Really helpful insight, great video
Much appreciated 🙏 what type of content would you like to see more of?
@@virtualdrivinginstructor more test videos, watching where people go wrong is great visual education
Good stuff! I love watching these type of videos of UK instructors so it’s good to see some on the Irish side of things!
I enjoy them too 😂 so decided to give it a go! do you prefer mocks or lessons when you watch? maybe both?
That was really informative video. Would love similar videos please..
Absolutely 🙏 share with friends and keep following along! I have another one of these in the making 😁
Massive discrepancies between testers and instructors
Can't say I disagree, anything that you notice that differs from testers to instructors?
Position on the straight tips please
This will be first on the list since 🙏
Is the jumpy gear change going to cause havoc on my transmission or another part?
yes! but won't destroy it immediately, but wear over time. A jumpy car is when the speed of your wheel is faster than the speed of the gear your selecting. the lower our speed is dropping gears the closer to the same speed they are which creats a smooth connection between the engine and the gears/wheels 🙏
you match the rpm not the speed you can most def drop 2 to 3 gears match the rpm and send it
Not on a driving test you can't 😅 but yes 2/3 gears is fine to drop in 1 go
@@virtualdrivinginstructor you most certainly can you won't however pass said test
Try “rev matching” and I reckon u could go from 6 to 🌳 with no jumping whilst staying at the same speed :)
I love rev matching 💓 everyone need to quit with the 🌲 comment 🤣 every platform I posted this it's been mentioned 😂😂 dam auto captions
You can go from 6 into 2 perfectly too... if you just brake on the engine down to around 30kmh before you shift
Yes you can! I wouldn't advise my learner drivers to do this though 😂 what's your favourite gear change to make?...
@@virtualdrivinginstructor 5 to 3 and 4 to 2
Lol. Yea I did that when I was in high school in my first stick shift car. Though I was in a 150hp race car and went to get off an exit doing 80 and downshifted from 5th gear to what I thought was 4th . Turns out it was 2nd gear . And it also turns out after you do that the engine starts to knock really loud and doesn’t go away . I made it home about a mile but for some reason the engine didn’t want to start after that…..
I'd day that was an experience you'll never forget 😂 the car really let's you know it was the wrong gear 😂
we know
but learner drivers don't...
From five to 🌲 or from 🌲 to one
Blame AI on the grammar with the captions 😂
Can you change more than 2 gears?
You can go from 6th to 4th just make sure your speed is correct for that gear
You can go from any gear to any other gear lol it doesn’t matter as long as you are aware of speed and actually rev match
Just put it in R and it will automatically downshift for you
exactly!
please don't put it in R while moving forward...
Only got two right.
Are you from Ireland?
That's useful, thanks!
Anytime! do you drive around dun laoghaire?
Obligatory U.S. comment, why all y’all driven on the wrong side of da road? Nice video
😂😂😂 always has to be said
That’s an awful long way to spell Larry
what 😂
@@virtualdrivinginstructor I said what I said 🤣
Great video! I’m doing my test next week and this is so helpful since I’ve struggled with these! 👊🏾💪🏾
Glad it was helpful!
Can I have this in freedom units please? 🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥
what? 😂😂
Pretty sure there isn't speed bumbs in 40 zones 😉
there is... in 30km/h zone we have many speed bumps 😂
Then he cuts the video because he ended up in a box
Haha 😂😂
I believe that you can wait on the yellow boxes as long as you're turning right, just like the guy did. The yellow boxes were put there to allow the traffic on the main road to give way to the traffic turning right into the main road, so technically, the boxes only apply to those going straight ahead on that junction.
Your perfectly allowed stop in a yellow box turning right 😂 watch on tiktok or insta and you'll see the full clip 🙏 youtube gives us a min to play with unfortunately
@Mr.BeanIsNotMyFather You are 100% correct my friend, video ends from the 60 second limit, tiktok and insta have the full clips 🙏
YOU SHOULD HAVE RECORDED AN INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO BRO WHY ARE YOU DRIVING IN THE ONWARD LANE Also why is your steering wheel on the wrong side bro this is too much
It's a different country from where you are from. I'm guessing you are American, not everything is the same. Other countries drive in the other lane with the steering wheel on the other side
I would have ended up with a problem much sooner driving in oncoming traffic 😂
