Vine dressers care for the vines so they will bear good fruit. Fruit that is desirable so that it can be harvested and sold or processed into a product that can be sold. It is a resource. If god is the vine dresser, we are the fruit? That he cares for so he can sell and enrich himself. If your god is real, we are simply a product to him. A means to an end. Not a beloved child. Your god doesn’t love you anymore than a farmer loves a crop, which will be sold for profit. What’s the message there? That’s some real religified logic there.

My big question these days is are there any plans at all or is it all hokey bs that makes us feel good when we hear it?
