Hi. I have changed the clock spring but I still have the airbag light on... any help?
@@oiseaukhalifa was the battery still connected while you was changing it? You might just have a defective clock spring

Great video. I heard it was a quick replace. Kia warranty doesnt cover it anymore on my 2011 Optima so they tried charging me $400 for a job that takes less than half an hour and tried charging me another $200 for the part when the part costs $100 or less. These people are crazy as hell. Thanks for this video brother

I looked at another video to replace mines first. But when I ran into a three plugs for pins, and my clock spring only had two plug space, I gave up. But when I watched your video, you showed me that I needed to take of the angling sensor cap and place it unto my new clock spring, thus giving me the three plug spaces. It worked, and I am so proud of myself for being able to change my clock spring. Thanks to your video. And everything works again. Much appreciated.

You don’t know how long I’ve been looking for a video like this. 2gr fks engine? Need new intake manifold gaskets or reusable? I’ll probably do the spark plugs at the same time do you know the torque spec? You just replace the coolant pipe correct? What’s the book time for this job? Any other torque spec I should know about?
Awesome, perfect video, just replaced mine, now my horn and stereo controls work 👍👍

Beautiful bike
Nice
Great job
Great concise video and instructions. One item to be sure of is which one you're going to need for your car. My (and your) car both have the clockspring with 3 plugs on the back side. A lot of cars use one with only 2 wires. I never found one on eBay that had all 3 so I had to order it online. There are a few KIA dealers that sell parts online and once you've found what you believe is your part you can put in your VIN and it will let you know if it's incorrect. Or I sent an email to them asking which one would fit my car giving them the VIN number for verification. And these dealers will save at least 20% and many times more than that. As indicated in a reply to my posting, you do not need to purchase anything other than the clockspring for your car. The third plug is to be removed from your old clockspring and then installed on the new one.
You didn't need to order the third plug. Just remove it from the old clock spring and clamp it onto the new clock spring, as the video shows, and it will work.
@@ayobastudiosgabriel5878 I found that out after I posted my comment above. Thanks for the reminder to others.

Thank you.
This video is very informative. Be mindful your wheel may lock when you tightening the bolt behind the airbag.
Did you purchase a used clock spring or a new one? Where did you purchase from?
No bro I got a new one off eBay
I’m really enjoying the tutorial

Disconnect battery and turn on headlights to drain the residual charge. Fire you camerawoman. She doesn't care about the quality of your work, nor does she respect it as she should. Keep her in the kitchen...or in the back holding your nuts.....and screws
It would be easier to remove front clip, that’s not a audi 3.0T engine so timing sitting on the back of motor
Really liked your video. Thanks for the step by step details!

Thank you, and your son did a solid job with the camera
Really appreciate the video becouse I will change mine clockspring soon. Can you tell me the number of your clockspring and how you find out what number it should be? Thanks.
👍🏽
I wasn’t just doing the timing chain there was more issues that required taking the engine out
And on this motor it’s easier to do it with the engine out no space in vehicle to get the upper oil pan off plus this is also how Mercedes dealership do this job I am also a Mercedes trained technician this was done at the dealership
dude, you're freaking lifesaver! this was an awesome detailed video! followed step by step and it was perfect!
Glad I was able to help be bless
