I barely run bgs. if you duo queue with a healer for blitz, use the 3v3 build. if you’re solo, use the 2v2 build. but neither build is designed for maximum aoe damage. If I randomly decide to become interested in BGs, then i’ll definitely include it in the next guide, but I am not an expert in that game mode. however, BGs can be a good place to practice your rotations for arena. it’s still possible to one shot using the 2v2 Greater Pyroblast burst rotation, but in BGs people often have so many HoTs and healers around that they just live though the combo. depends on how long you’ve gotten to actually play retail. I think every player reaches their own /played limit. are you a classic player nowadays? I kind of want to play classic more but it sounds more dead than retail.

can you elaborate on the issue? do the imports not work?

few suggestions just in case - make sure you have your UI scale set to 75% if you’re trying to 1 for 1 import the UI. if you’re importing my saved variables to use my addon profiles, make sure the game is closed before importing. if the imports didn’t work, then close the game and re-paste the saved variables into your account > account# > saved variables folder.

@@TekayamaTV have double copy’s of action bars, everything is out of line. Easy frames doesnt look like yours. Ive tried the 75% folder aswell. I gave up and made my own.

you need to set UI scale to 75% before importing my edit mode string. that’s probably why everything is “out of line.” also it sounds like easy frames and dominos aren’t using my profiles. just go to the addon settings and select the profile with my name. i’ll try to see if I can make easy frames and dominos load my profile as default.

also are you importing all addons or just a select few? you need betterblizzframes and FrameColor with easy frames to make it look the right color. you also need masque and diablo III preset to go with the action bars. you need to install all the addons on curse forge on your own. then once you have the addons, you can then import my saved variables to use my profiles. do not import first and THEN download the addons. that would be backwards, and cause the addon to just install fresh without my profile. hope this helps but keep me posted and I think I can help.

NVCI Clean Install downloads the latest and best drivers. There is an optional checkbox to automatically keep drivers updated without contacting NVIDIA servers, however to prevent downloads running in the background I prefer to keep this off until I run into a problem, and then I just update manually. I only do this if I notice low performance or if my game is crashing.

no, DDU is mainly to ensure you fully exterminate the old driver for the first time. NVCI should be able to handle everything after that. So to answer, yes NCVI is able to uninstall old drivers and reinstall the latest updated driver without contacting NVIDIA servers. Thank you so much for these comments Berry!

thanks brother! I really appreciate the tips and kind words. To be honest though I think you misunderstand my issue with evokers and demon hunters. It’s not the comp that’s the problem. it’s the classes themselves. If any comp includes an evoker or demon hunter or both in specifically 3v3 arena (not 2v2). The main problem is that there are too many defensives to do setups with comps like RMD/RMP until you’ve gotten every defensive with multiple goes, and then kill when you have a window where your enemy has no defensive cooldowns to use for that go. Hope that makes things a little more clear, but maybe give that video about my issues with pvp another watch. Also i’ve tried skillcapped in the past, but I already knew everything they offered on the website for fire mage, other than 1 on 1 coaching with Rank 1s, which costs extra. I think Skillcapped is actually a scam (I never got my money back, might be my fault though since I was still a teenager at the time) and you can find everything they talk about for free either on their youtube channel or from other rank 1 content creators like Bicmex. If Skillcapped has resources that are helpful to you, then i’m happy it’s helping you climb rating. but personally, I don’t endorse skillcapped subscription service. most of their tips are already out there for free. their free youtube videos are top tier though, and they’ve taught me a lot about the game after watching them over the years. you don’t know what you don’t know. 🤷‍♂️ thanks for the thoughtful comment bro! also you have to pre-order TWW Epic Edition ($90) in order to gain beta access. 3 weeks beta is just not worth the extra $40 for me.

in the aoe build you use flamestrike instead of pyro. in the single target build you use pyro instead of flamestrike. if there’s a lot of enemy’s stacked up, it can still be worth it to use a couple flamestrikes for aoe damage in 3v3 but not 2v2. But this was with World in Flames buffing flamestrike damage by 200% if they were centered, meaning flamestrike hits harder than pyro IF you can center the flamestrike. but if it’s not centered, the damage falls off very fast so it’s usually best to pyro moving targets. World in Flames just got nerfed to 100% so it’s no longer more powerful than pyroblast unless you’re hitting 2 or more targets in the flamestrike since that will total more damage.

you’re completely right - i’m not saying kills should be possible through a teams defensives, but it should be possible to rotate through them until they have nothing left as a setup comp like RMP. In the current state of things, teams get their defensives back before dps classes get their burst back. Making kills very unfun because you aren’t bursting when things die unless the enemy uses their defensives incorrectly by overlapping them or using them too early/late

@@TekayamaTV no worries, it is not about the frame rate, human brains generally react slower when they see big images, that is why the game competations has screen size less than 27

you would need to account for the proportional size due to the distance from your screen. I would bet competition screens would appear the same size as my TV if you sit CLOSER to the smaller monitor at a desk. objects appear larger at closer distances and smaller at further distances. I am about five or six feet away from my TV for reference. Would definitely love to read your calculations if you want to figure out how much smaller or bigger the images are from the perspective of a 65” OLED TV from 6 feet away, compared to a 27” monitor at 1-2 feet away.

ye but I have tried the other specs in the past. The core spec identities have been pretty consistent since legion. Fire has the fastest burst, Frost has good burst with more control and an extra block, and arcane has the most utility and best overall damage (since it’s almost impossible to stop their damage with their high mobility and fake casts). I’ve played some destro and demo lock in the past, but I returned to mage for the mobility and faster damage. I don’t play any melee classes so yeah basically fire mage only nowadays

then for 3s: Phoenix Flames for set bonus 5% damage, Greater Pyro, Living Bomb, Fireball, Combustion, Fire Blast, Fire Blast, Pyroblast, Pyroblast, Ice Nova, Fire Blast, Pyroblast, Phoenix Flames, Pyroblast, Phoenix Flames, Pyroblast, Phoenix Flames/Fire Blast (depending on what you have), Fireball (when flame accel is back up), Pyroblast, Pyroblast. Ring of Fire is nerfed in PvP, and my philosophy that Gpy is bad for 3s has completely changed. Currently running Greater Pyro, Glass Cannon and Flamecannon in both 2s and 3s

it’s a rutherford chair but tbh it’s actually uncomfy and not ergonomic at all. Using Sweetcrispy Office Comouter Chair now and it has mesh back to keep me cool in the summer and the arms fold up which is better on my shoulders. the actual seat of this old rutherford chair is way too big. it looks comfy from the waist up but it cut off circulation in my legs badly. if my bird didn’t chew furniture i’d invest in a lazy boy chair or something. but I think i’m just gonna stick to the cheaper option because the mesh back is truly underrated. never sweaty under arms anymore. TMI mb xd
