I used to work security, during covid i was working 16-24 hour shifts. it was crazy, worked in the psych unit mostly. i ended up getting hurt at work, went through two surgeries, was told i would never be able to work security ever again or become a police officer, so instead of taking the pain meds and sitting on the couch i kept working out hard. today i passed a physical fitness test for a police department. tomorrow i have the integrity interview. thank you for the videos they help so much. im going to keep pushing till i become a police officer.

Reliving a past that I tried to forget was the hardest thing that I've had to do in quite some time. But I passed my polygraph and psychological evaluation a few weeks ago and am waiting for my official academy invite...at 36. Thin blue line refers to an unwritten code of silence used to cover up police misconduct and corruption. So yes its possible that some people could find the " thin blue line" or "blue wall" offensive and represents an " US versus them" mindset between officers and citizens. Some view it as politically driven used by "blue lives matter" movement 2014 as a rebuttal to the " Black lives matter " movement. Also associated with white nationalist "unite the right rally" 2017 and other extremists groups. Association with views and ideologies descriped as " undemocratic, racist, bigoted" Besides flag desecration, appropriation of american flag. Several jurisdictions have issued injunctions against use of gang symbol "Thin Blue Line" on police uniforms and other offical capacities. So its even your own organization who find the Thin Blue Line controversial , offensive, politically driven. Clearly you got so angry over a comment, looking like your ready to escalate and go hands on just because someone has a different opinion than you. Wow. Your definitely that cop showing us how poorly trained, cruel mannered you are. Fun fact police officers are 60% more likely to be involved in domestic violence than anyone else. Your training only covers 10% of peoples constitutional rights and 90% weapons, intimidation tactics, hand to hand, physical restraining, basically violence, so you have big cop ego and only truly know bits of citizens rights, violating rights, unlawful orders, ego based directives, lying, exaggerating on sworn arrest affidavits, fishing expedition every person in contact, looking for something anything to arrest and or add additional charges, vehicle impound, etc. Escalation to hands on violence, excessive use of force, man slaughter, murder. Retaliation against citizens, intimidation, threats, no transparency, no accountability, acting right behind your qualified immunity and Thin Blue Line.

Me Calling the police for anything is like never. Now maybe if cops were out in community acting more as a public servant, connecting with people and getting to actually know them, instead demanding ID so I know who you are! Forcing ID on someone isn't knowing who they are, unless your that shallow. When was a kid in 80s we had neighborhood officers like officer Kelley with his mullet, Oakley shades, stop us riding dirtbikes, he would just pull up in crusier knowing our names, home, parents, tell us to walk the bikes home for the 20th time that summer. He didn't speed up to us, block our path, jump out of car, hand on gun, screaming, acting crazy, threatening us with violence, arrest, or impounding our bikes. He was cool, we liked him, respected him, when walking around neighborhood he would see us an wave an often talk and joke with us for a bit, actually engage with us teenagers with a positive interaction. We liked him, respected him, I remember him clearly 30 something years later. Police can't police like that anymore, they're too disconnected, more like weaponized military soldiers. If your too scared for your safely while dealing with citizens as a public servant then change jobs brother. Freedom is scary.

Someone's forgot where his salary comes from. Screw your little gang flag. Red white and blue all the way. The proper flag. Which should be good enough for you, but you don't identify with that flag. Sad.

First of all, take down that ugly thin blue line gang flag! It's a desecration of the American flag and it's a disgrace! Secondly, what rational and sane person would even consider becoming a cop? After watching countless body cam videos, I know law enforcement is no longer considered an honorable and respectful profession. Nowadays, it would take a lunatic to ever dream of becoming a peace officer. In reality, there are several TH-cam channels dedicated to exposing ignorant cops who are ignorant of the rights citizens have in the United States. Many cops in this country don't even know the laws. I highly recommend taking a screenshot of this list of TH-cam channels and then doing a search for them here on TH-cam. Because then, you can become more knowledgeable about the tyranny that is taking place in this country. 1. Audit Archive 2. The Civil Rights Lawyer 3. Shields of Shame 4. US - Corrupt Cops 5. @@ccletiko9209 I do my oral board interview on Tuesday. I talked to lot of police officers and few detectives i know! Go in confidant, they may ask you a situational question, however you answer it, stick with that choices in those situations even if they press you. Sit up straight, be super respectful, look more into the department on there website, look at mission statement, know the name of the chief of police. You got this!!!

The problem is tho when you don’t lie but you’re just nervous! To many people have said I didn’t lie I was nervous tho and failed too many times for it to be dismissed as a flook because truth is if the examiner has a personal issue with let’s say smoking pot they can fail you with no repercussions on them it’s like they are the last word for the department! Which to me is grazy
