While the SNES's sound sampler may have been more well rounded for a variety of different music genres, the Yamaha YM2612 in the Sega Genesis is just plain better for rock and metal, and this remix makes that abundantly clear.

I know I'm 4 years late but whatever; if you enable Super Sonic in this hack (done so by using the Pro Action Replay Code FFFFB1:0007 and collecting 50 rings on any stage, PPZ3 not recommended, all tested on KEGA Fusion version 3.64), it plays this track because the hack is built on top of Sonic 2, which stored Super Sonic's theme in this track slot (both tracks are numbered 16 in their respective sound tests). I must admit, whether or not intentional, I unironically find it quite fitting for a Super theme, lol. Additionally, just like in the original Sonic 2, after Super reverts back to normal Sonic after defeating a boss or completing a level, the game plays whatever the stage's track was. Edit: Some useful tips when playing as Super in this hack (since Super is a little broken): 1: Do NOT use the Super Peel-Out once Super - Sonic will just stay frozen in place while cycling through his walking animation 2: Do NOT grab a Lightning Shield once Super - it will revoke his invincibility (but if you already had one before transforming, there's no need to worry) 3: As I alluded to it earlier, do NOT activate Super Sonic in PPZ3 - the flames from the explosion will catch up with you very quickly and it will be very difficult to get out once engulfed. You can activate him safely if you're at the tunnel (near the end of the level), but make sure the flames are not chasing you in order to do so. 4: I personally felt the spindash to feel a little less powerful compared to how it works in normal gameplay. 5: Sonic is no longer vulnerable to Gorbichev's attacks... however, unlike with Eggman in Sonic 2, you can't damage bosses by just standing around; you still have to curl in order to damage Gorbichev (though you can damage King Orbi uncurled).

its pretty sad that a sonic rom hack has a much better rendition of grab bag then the actual retail copy of duke nukem on the genesis (for those who don't know duke 3D had a release on the genesis and its music is quite bad)
