Márian, guatemalan DJ and producer of electronic dance & body music. She began her career motivated by the mix of industrial, acid, dark and heavy sounds, always following a danceable rhythmic touch to them. She began with the experimentation of sounds and genres such as Trance, Psytrance, Synth and Techno. Later on, her musical selection merged towards a mixture of more industrial sounds, always following a dark rhythmic line but adding more of a futuristic touch of the eighties, heavy disco and acid.

Before the current revolution of the Earth around the Sun comes to an end, the Mexican powerhouse Kyma Komplex brings to life another compilation: After "Varias Artistas", "Anthems Manifesto", and "Protesta", its previous VAs, it is now the time of "Vórtices" take over the stage with its 6-track parcel featuring only Guatemalan artists from different generations who delivered an insightful selection of cuts that combine a plural soundscape of influences. On board this true showcase of Latino Guatemalan talents: Milla Campollo, Mike Rowave, Casta, Jorge Galindo, Mverto Futura, and Márian.
For her second appearance on Kyma, young and promising producer Márian pulled no punches and forged a theme that defines her sonority. Filled with melodic insertions and percussive boosters, “Bon Voyage” triggers a certain feeling of nostalgia. The reason? No idea. It simply opens the vault of good dance floor recollections even listening to it for the very first time. Time to dance to it and create perennial brand-new memories…

Hi Márian. We just found your channel yesterday and have been enjoying your excellent taste in music. This track seems to flow well, but a couple of thoughts on how the sounds translate through my monitors. The kick/snare/bass groove isn't working together as well as it could. The bass could come up maybe 2-3 dB, and you might consider using a saturator (Klanghelm IVGI, Melda Saturator) so that the upper harmonics make it more present. Compressing those sounds through a sub-group bus using TDR Molotok or Analog Obsession Fetish might be also good. And 2-3 dB of master bus compression (TDR Koltenivok, Klanghelm DC1A) might glue the whole mixdown together. All of these plugins are free. Keep up the great work, all the best.
