i cannot seem to get the piano guide templates The files come up empty do you have any suggestions thank you
My 2.5 yo has known the music notes (using your templates!) for a while now. We even got colored stickers to put on our piano. But she will not play the rainbow songs from the sheet (she memorized a few notes of twinkle twinkle, but even if I show her the sheet for that song, she looks confused) It seems that I can get her to play any individual note “can you play ‘la’?” And she can do it. She can also truly count to 10. But as soon as I say “this sheet says play four ‘do’s” or “play ‘do’ four times” she just doesn’t get it. Is there a way to get from single notes to a sequence? I’m thinking of making flashcards of the notes, ask her to play that note, and then changing them very quickly. Don’t know if that’s an intermediate step.

how do you go about teaching rhythm?
Hi! When it comes to rhythm, I prefer an intuitive approach to begin with. We play together and sing along. We also alternate with playing rhythm sticks and a hand drum and we play rhythm games away from the piano. If you want to I can make a video on that topic :)

May I ask where you are located?

That solely depends on the piano teacher! You will have to find someone who knows enough about very young children and uses a play based approach to music teaching. Otherwise it could turn your daughters interest in music into frustration pretty fast!
