Ms. Claycomb has sung more than 60 roles on the operatic stage and has traversed an extremely wide range of concert and recital repertory in her 30+ year international career. Her detailed and committed approach to singing works equally well in Baroque, Classical, Bel Canto, late Romantic music as well as in contemporary music. A favorite of living composers, Laura regularly gives first performances of music written with her particular sound and musicianship in the mind of the composer. She has sung with a long list of important conductors and stage directors and has long-standing musical relationships, notably with Patrick Summers, Michael Tilson Thomas, Emmanuelle Haïm and Esa-Pekka Salonen.
Laura shares her vast experience from a 30+ year career and continually updated studies with enthusiasm to the next generation of singers. She resides with her husband and two children in Turin, Italy.

On the eve of Mom's first heavenly birthday, I thought it'd be appropriate to include this piece which my Dad loves from Andrew Lloyd Weber's Requiem. Lyrics: Merciful Jesus, Grant them rest (everlasting). Lamb of God, Grant them rest (everlasting rest).
