Absolutely Beautiful. In 2016 I had both the honour and the privilege of , with other comrades in arms, in representing our regiment and attending, the 50th Anniversary memorial event of this tragic & terrible event . In 1966 our regiment, along with Royal Naval personnel, were one of the first units deployed to Aberfan to render military assistance to the grief stricken villagers and miners, some using their bare hands, in the recovery of bodies, and the commencement of clearing the debris from the village. The great fortitude, dignity and generosity of spirit demonstrated by the people of Aberfan in 1966, is still present in the villagers to this day.

Beautiful tribute to the children and adults who lost their lives that day. Seeing those arches is really moving. Of all the videos this is the best one from all angles and up close. Seeing the mountains looking peaceful and inviting is mind boggling from what it was. RIP dear angels. Is the blond lady one of the survivors?

so sad, can't imagine what all you parents, relatives, friends and especially the children went through!!, I'm bloody 55, and still get tears watching this and I'm not ashamed to say it, may all those who lost their lives rest in peace and hope the Angeles are always looking after you, god bless you all xxxx

Thank you for making this incredible tribute to those precious lives lost. Your contribution is very valuable and I hope many people will get to see this. There is nothing else like it. I will never forget what happened in this town and this video has etched in my mind and my heart the depth of grieving and love for all of the victims. It also showed me the insurmountable love and loyal Welsh community that exists in Aberfan.

Beautiful, moving tribute paid to a terribly sad event 50 years on! All those children taken so young. I visited these graves also on Sunday 23/10/16 with my young grandson of 5......I have never held his hand so tightly. I felt so sad, I had to fight a tear or two from developing!
