SRAM Derailleur Eagle pulley jockey wheel replacement hack $2.00 bearings Vs $30 to replace pulleys
มุมมอง 9409 หลายเดือนก่อน
Replace your derailleur bearings with inexpensive replacements . Will work on any SRAM pulley using a 6mm x 19 mm x 6mm 626 bearing. Pulleys using this bearing are Eagle AXS and cable GX, XXO, and XX1 for sure. The SX and NX pulleys don’t use bearings. I will add the bearing link in comments #mtb #sram #axs #mtb #mtbhacks

You couldn't start with a better car! 59' & 60' ❤
Nice ride!
nice gray color along with the red
Looks great! Thank you for the support!
Beautiful 60 IMPALA, you did amazing job on your IMPALA, lot of work paid off, you have a BEAUTIFUL car you can be proud of, color combination is perfect, KOOL IMPALA THANKS FOR SHARING, SUBSCRIBED.
Bags are for groceries
You are chocking that little generator with that worthless a/c. Should've gone with a roof top or 12v unit
I would have gone rooftop but I store it in a garage. The a/c unit works great for us. It has both fresh air intake and exhaust to cool condenser. That a/c will freeze you out of the trailer if you wished. Just a good fit for our storage needs. A mini split unit would have been great but I wanted to run something with a small generator for space concerns
At some point the pulleys get "pointy", and will suck the chain, 2nd or at most 3rd set of bearings is acceptable, more than that will be a bad business.
For sure, I agree with that. I race in a lot of wet gritty conditions so I can destroy the bearings quickly even though though nylon pulley is in great shape. I’m on my fourth set of bearings in one set still look good
Beautiful car did a great job on it. Thank you for sharing.
Done this and it's not holding in. The pulleys will slide off the bearing at some point
Thanks for the info. I’ve done this 4 times to the same set and they are having no issues but I’ll keep an eye on it. Maybe a smidge of RTV sealant on pulley prior to bearing install could secure them

Gotta love America! She's a beauty. Oh and so is your date.
Man, this car looks so good. 1960 is my favorite year for the Impala. I especially love the pic with the car parked next to that Huracan.
Thanks Brian. I appreciate it. I wished I documented the build better but never thought all these builders videos would be so popular

I have one of these. Resurrected it from a fossilized state, literally.
What’s it in?
@@jvlavl44 Right now its just on a stand in my shop, awaiting a new home lol.
John VanLeuven, did you rebuild that engine? IF so, you did a fine job. That engine sounds great!
The motor was rebuilt when I got the car in parts. But I did do the tri power set up
Thanks for the compliment
Nicely done, Suerte..🙏..
Calling a w motor a big block is as funny as saying big block Pontiac. 😂
I get it but in 1960 this was Chevrolets big v8 block and the 283 was the small block. What do you consider a 1960 big block? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_big-block_engine
@jvlavl44 65 would be the first release of the big block. W motor is a design to itself.
It is a big block get over it.
@@funrunner1277 Your version of the "big block" is the MARK IV engine. The W series was a different engine. Both are big block Chevy's.
@DeanMk1 the bore is slightly larger then a 400 small block the stroke is shorter. The cylinder angle is 122° which is 12° different then any other v8 chevy has ever made. The wide block was the only reason it gained the term big block. When looking at bore x stroke it does not qualify as a big block. It was a very short lived motor and it is 100% a design to itself. We can agree to disagree just as I would with anybody claiming a big block pontiac. But that does open an argument for the big block 318 industrial dodge made. 🤣
I had no idea of what it looked it prior to you working on the car, so thanks for sharing. It is an amazing transformation! So awesome!
Awesome.
Bad to the Bone.
Bad Ass 60 😎👍
WHAT A BEAUTUFUL AUTOMOBILE!!! GREAT COLOR COMBANATION; YOU HAVE VERY GOOD TASTE!!! BLESSINGS ALWAYS!!!!

THANK YOU, SIR!!
Excellent job splitting those compressors. My buddy's jeep we built had issues with blowing fuses and ended up doing a similar thing.
This is awesome
THIS IS ADORABLE AND LOOKS HELLA FUN OH MY LORD
