Riding Epic Trails!/MTB Quebec City/Vallée Bras-Du-nord
Filmed This probably a month ago on my trip to Quebec city. Always some insane riding over there. I would've made the trip back for more riding this year if it woudn't have been for my shoulder surgery.

Bromont Bike Park Opening Day 2022 And It's Muddy
Very nice stem bro!
Track was exactly like that at the end of summer 2023
is there a shuttle service?
I don't recall there was any, it's a pedal to the top type deal.
oh my god that jump track looks amazing, so much potential too. i would honestly drive from ontario to hit that.
Can the old Trek handle the chunk bud ??
Sure does
How does the slash climb ?
Honestly it climbs like an enduro bike. It's no XC bike but it gets you to the top.
Great run
So weird how they took out the rock slab at the end of 17...
They like making things easier.
@@sweettrails1096 I just saw in some other video that they also made the rock garden on #20 easier...eh? But theres a new drop on #24? lol
I don't understand how you start on the 7, the camera cuts and are going down a wooden bridge which I have no idea is where, and then the camera cuts again and you are at the top of Slinky?
Yeah, i could've left a little bit more of the footage leading up to the slinky. I guess i tought the footage wasn't interesting enough. I watched it back just now and i realize that without any context it's hard to understand. So basically, i wanted to show the route i took to go to slinky, but honestly i realize now that i cut way to much footage and made the beginning of the video too hard to follow along. Thank you for the feedback. I'll try to not make the same mistakes again from now on.
Looks well groomed. Did you ever try it when it was called Bing Bang? Thoughts on the changes? Bing Bang in 2012 was nicely groomed but by 2019 it was getting pretty chewed up in spots. Looks like they put jumps instead of the rock garden at the bottom and the top is all berms now... not sure i like what they've done at the top
Sure is different, but i got used to it.
Getting mine tomorrow. Whoop
It's a great bike
Sick!
Sucks you got burned in that last section !!! 🎉
It happens
thanks, I will think about this for my trip next year.
NICE EDIT ✅
how is the bike for climbing
Climbs like an enduro bike, but it gets you up the hill with enough strenght ans energy to have fun on the downhills
how tall are you and what size do you ride because i'm looking to get one but not sure on the sizing
M/L and i'm 5"10 but i know a guy who is also 5"10 and he rides a Large
@@sweettrails1096 ok thank you very much
I prefer the footage from the GoPro
The imsta 360 looks cool but the gopro looks better
That hip was sick!
Thank you
the color of the trek slash 8 is so sick
I absolutely love that color
Was there last week and didn't have the legs left to do Slab City. Next time!
Yeah, because that trail is well worth the climb
Yeah, because that trail is well worth the climb

@@mtbfriendly will go back. Only had a couple days. 6 hr drive from MA so not too bad. Nice drive
Oh and how have the lines been?
The lines are fun
@@sweettrails1096 are we talking about the same lines? I meant the lift lines :P
@@canadmos on that particular day, they were pretty long. But the mountain is going to be open full time this week so hopefully thats gonna change.
Awe they took out that sketchy root drop thing? And the little rock slab at the very end?
Very good
Nice man! Whats your bike, im curious
2023 Trek slash 8
Nice ! Doesn't look like there is any fire smog .Planning to go there in 2 weeks .
No, not to much smog out here
nice run dude 👍
Thx

Hello. Nice pace. Bromont is my local and I do love watching those same trails again on TH-cam. I was wondering if you and anyone else can help me with a decision. I’m riding a 2012 morewood makula dh team bike But my new bike is between The transition patrol 160/160 mullet Or The transition spire 170/170 29r slightly longer. Which of these to bikes, would suit bromont better? Which bike snd set up are you riding?
I currently have a 2018 Rocky Mountain Altitude 70 alloy. Its 160/150 on 27.5. If you only ride DH or do a lot of DH, the Spire would be a good bike. But it depends if you want a playful bike or not. I think the Patrol would be good for you if you ride a variety of trails.
@@sweettrails1096 thank you for your reply. Yes, that’s what I’m thinking. I like to mix my trails up 7, 5, 20, 57-60, 9, and soon to be the enduro trails. I think I want to be a more playful rider. Plus I want to experience Sutton and wolf park.
@0:47 I don't like that one either haha, really hard to keep speed for it. Cased it so bad I almost went OTB!
Almost crashed on it too. That's why i don't like it.
on se trompe toujours au début de la rotule aussi haha fait toi en pas!
J'ai tendance à touner a droite mais si la piste va a gauche
kudos to the ride up the hill
When did they put those in? Rode it today and already filled with holes haha. Need some more tech trails like 59b now!
How do you mount your GoPro? Are you using a gamble or anything? Also is it on your helmet if your chest? Thanks
I'm using a chin mount, the gopro is mounted on the chin bar of my full face helmet. I'm just using a normal Gopro Hero 7 black, no gimbals or anything. Hope you find it helpful
So far my favourite trail. Spent the whole afternoon yesterday climbing to roll down this once due to the lift shutoff. 😂
And thank you for putting this up! That’s hella fast riding.
It's also my go to lap
Well done
Was that done on a hardtail ?
I did it with a double suspension, but i saw a guy who claimed to have done it with a cyclo cross bike.
@@sweettrails1096 un malade looool.
You had some really good speed there.
That's how i like to ride 😉
amazing
How is this even possible? So cool! Where is this?
It's sentier du moulin on Quebec not to far off of the city of Quebec
Cool video buddy 🤩🤘🔥
