Born Edmund Yaw Sarpong, Tarzan is an old school rhythm guitarist whose playing goes back into the 60s. He has been with guitar band greats such as the late Alex Konadu and the late Dr. Paa Bobo. Here he performs a song by the latter in the palmwine rhythm style termed 'Kwao' after the great originator of this style, the late Kwaa Mensah.

This is among some of the numerous appearances I made after the release of the single Edidiong in 2015. Here I perform during the 2016 Fete de la Musique festival. Backing me on keyboard is Ghana's renowned keyboardist, Opoku Mensah.

Agya Koo Nimo born Daniel Amponsah can be described as the Andres Segovia of Palmwine Guitar Highlife. He is a grand master of palm-wine guitar brand of highlife and one of my major influences.

This group scored hits in the 90s with their unique palm-wine style. Their set up included the Penpensewa (box thumb piano) and Frikyiwa (a piece of metal placed on the thumb and index finger that are hit together. It falls under the Idiophone family of the classification of African instruments)
