That's the best looking, Lamia ever. I used to be a Benchmade fan 25 years ago when the 71, 940, and Griptillian were the latest and greatest, and their QC were top-notch. The problem with them now, besides the price, is QC is pathetic and, as you said, their designs are 25 years old just pimped up a bit. They to get busy and pump out some new stuff and, FFS, get the quality back.

I really don't care if they have big overhead. So do Ford and GM. But are you going to pay twice the price for their truck over a Toyota? I like that 7 10 because it is my size of knife. But Aluminum scales and steel liners for $450? Those workers close to retirement are good to go, but that company will be having massive layoffs in the next 5 years because they are NON COMPETITIVE even with USA makers. KERSHAW makes USA made quality for 1/3 of their prices. F*CK BENCHMADE!

Primo Benchmade dope delivery today 💥 Not surprised it’s smooth-all of the big Benchmade’s feel quite smooth (the 4” Contego was one of the smoothest knife I have ever felt). Yeah, some lock variations from Benchmade would be nice.

Nothing against Tactile, as a US company I want them to succeed, but every time they release something I hear about detent/lockup/centering or other manufacturing/QC issues. I really wanted an Archer too, but again, I keep hearing about issues and people returning them.

Seems like a lot of tactile first runs have QC issues. Not sure why they don’t do more in house testing before releases.

That version sold out in under 30 seconds. I put it in my cart 20 seconds in, and it was gone before I could click on check out. The zirc kits were gone almost as fast. I wound up with WMK full ti version that's heading for an ano job. I'm disappointed with the Mariner too. Bad QC is unacceptable.

I haven’t tried tactile ever again after the huge let down on the maverick’s action and shitty qc. And why the hell do these companies continue to give us these expensive ass knives with these shitty plunge grinds and sharpening choils. Like wtf man one sharpening and you got a damn smile 🤦🏼. Looks like a $150 knife pretty much. The fact that Tactile is charging $429 kinda blows my mind. Props to them being a fully USA made brand, and I wanna check out an Archer some day, but *hard* pass on this one.
