Years ago when this was the Riu Palace we really wanted to visit then the Palace got wiped out by a hurricane. Figured “so much for that”. Then we find out there building a Secrets resort on the site of the old Riu Palace resort and we get excited again. Thanks for sharing this video but I must say. After watching it I really have no desire to stay at this Secrets. Don’t like the light bland Almond color paint that seems to be everywhere in the resort and very little color or sparkle or decorations. Reminds me of the blandness of Secrets Huatulco some. Also hate the low income housing style buildings. They should have given this place some style like Secrets Akumal for example. Anyway thanks again for the video. Yours is the first real look at the resort and I’m glad I got to take a look.
