Funny: I generally associate Italian female pop rock singers with smoky voices à la Rod Stewart/Bonnie Tyler, think Gianna Nannini etc. which would have worked alright with the sharp guitars here. In stead we almost get an Italian version of Mary Hopkin, who had an excellent voice by the way wanting to join a though rock band Somehow, it's a mismatch. The vocalist could have done a fine job with other types of music she maybe disliked, but being a female rock singer takes power and volume like Doro Pesch, Ann Wilson, mean Joan Jett, Luba... So.... But I'll give the studio version a try, maybe producers managed to clean up the act a bit, and make it sound more coherent. I'm glad though Mary Hopkin never decided to join Slade, Foreigner or Iron Maiden.
