I was there in the front row. Everybody found it so hilarious. We were all laughing and cheering.

Saw him last night in Durham and he peeled the paint off the room. Band is tight, sound was mixed perfectly, and I didn't notice him taking liberties with his singing. He was incredible -- fortunate to have finally have seen him.

i don't think it sounds that bad but i don't appreciate the skibbity scat lounge singer approach at some points - like David Lee Roth's efforts in recent years. i saw JFM in Denver a couple months ago and he was so freaking on point it was incredible - like it was 1985 again. as i've followed JFM over the years i've come to appreciate he was AT LEAST have the Smiths magic if not more - no question. if you get the chance to see him, don't miss. i am not shitting on Morrissey but i do think i could probably live w/o seeing him based on a few live videos from recent years..
