you pay me $200K a year I will gladly put into super. by i don't want a mortgage at 70 years old. I don't think you understand the real world, not trying have a go. , but I feel you need to talk to the average person on 70-80K a year.

guys thanks for the video and info, i have been investing in dividend etf for some time and they paid over 12% more, i invest in international shares from the US, some of the funds/etf are spyi, svol, clm, crf, gof, oxlc, acp.ecc and many more. i get monthly income and i reinvest to grow my fund and the dividend payment. i think we are moving to the era where you can safely find funds that pay go dividend yield

There's no such thing as "passive income"...because you still have to track it, do taxes, do something. I prefer the idea of Low effort, High return income.

I Love super, 36, and I keep pumping full each year!! Wife 31 and she max's it out, only thing I do not like is this new 30% tax over $3mill, what a joke.

Great to see you both prioritising super! The 30% tax over $3M has definitely sparked frustration-it feels like a tough hit for those who've planned well.

I use a SMSF for a few reasons: - To eliminate the tax drag associated with pooled funds. - I don't like that you're basically forced into ESG with most super funds. - I can rebalance asset allocations for holdings that I also have outside super in a more tax efficient environment. - Using a cheap online SMSF provider with 2 members in the fund makes the fees basically a wash once you have a significant balance (around 500k between the 2 members). I agree it's a terrible idea for 99% of people though.

SMSFs can indeed be powerful for tax efficiency, investment choice, and fee management, especially with larger balances. You’re right, though-while it’s a solid option for some, it’s not the best fit for everyone. Thanks for sharing!
