It seems you have encountered ramiel. It is a geom and it likes its personal space entity free.
After a while it flies off but multiple ramiels may spawn in a single playthrough so you might have a chance on another encounter with it. It is really cool looking once opened and worth taking some pictures. You can avoid its attacks by hiding behind trees. Have fun!
