Great ideas. And super clean shiney toilet bowl. 🥳
You put together a great summary!
Love this system! I have a zone system all written out in a notebook with dividers but this I believe will work better with the way my brain operates. The tactile, hands on, visual of seeing what is left for the day, I think all of this will help me more. Love the old school too, this is how I worked as a young girl in offices, so I also find it comforting. I even have a recipe box and cards to get started! Thank you so much for your video, hope this finds you well, God bless!
When one of the sisters, Peggy, died the other one Pam, carried on writing more books and has a website, i'm on her email subscription list. She's on yt.
I love Minecraft! Been playing for many years. Glad to know It is such an appreciated game!
Is there a significance for the various colors of the tabbed divider cards?
No, the pack of cards came that way.
Thank you! I so needed this! I just found you @ 5:30 in the morning. I was introduced to the SHE system in the mid 80's by a friend who was starting to set up her system and it CHANGED MY LIFE! Many life changes and years have passed since then. More recently I have been trying to reboot my system, but haven't been having the success I had hoped. I saw your thumbnail picture of the card file and I remembered, "We change lives with 3X5's!" I am on the road back to an organized and tidy home now! Thank you!!!
The author, Pam Young, just passef away.😢 She has helped so many women and homemakers, what an influence and legacy.❤❤❤
Also recommend a colored index card for seasonal chores❤❤❤❤❤❤
I watched a video with Pam Young, one of the authors of the S.H.E. book, and she said once your card becomes a remembered habit, you can throw the card out. So the goal is also accumulating less cards as you build good habits.❤
This was very simple and helpful. Thank you so much!
I tend to elderly in their home & use the card system in 2. The 3rd one is a check list I taped to the inside pantry door. Deep clean 2-3x year. 1 room per month. Monthly freezer go through should be included.
So glad I found your videos
Hi! For monthlies that you want on the same date each month, you can backfile behind the last date card once completed. Just check when you move today's date card to the back that you place it behind them.
Your explanation while showing your cards is incredibly helpful. Thank you for taking the time to show us. My brain is whirring on how I might set this up to include some chores for me and some for my kids… so many good ideas!
Thank you.
Quick question. For example: dishwashing. That's something that needs to be done daily. Will I be making 31 cards that will read "do dishes"?
I was confused by that too. You only make a card once but you remove it to the following day once you completed it. for example if it’s Monday and you completed the dishwashing card, you would then file it on Tuesday. You make the cards once and then file them so they can be repeated.
I have two dish washing tasks as i get bored. And Two put away dishes. I also put haircut, and shave in the box.
Where can I find part three please?
Excellent videos thank you.
Hi Becky! I jumped right on your channel when I saw that you were doing the SHE system. You explained it very well! I think the SHE book came out about 1977 and I used it in the 70s. I LOVE this system! Back then it was based on the Time that I had available - these days it's based on the Energy that I have available, as well as my Ability, both of which can be lacking some days. So glad to see that this system is still solid and relevant.
I first learned of this system BEFORE Pam and Peggy wrote their first book. It was in some women’s magazine. The system literally changed my life! My family and I benefited immensely. I’m so glad to see ladies are still learning and growing with SHE.
Yes, it is basically a tickler file which has been around for ages before the S.H.E. books....@@kathygustafson9034
This was a very clear explanation thank you
I have been using this system since 1986. Love it!
I can't wait to finish setting up my 'baby tickler' filebox! I call it that because i have a big regular size tickler for action papers. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you for these videos! It was very helpful.
Great explanation of the system, thank you!
Thanks this was very helpful
