Is high pressure steam used to vulcanize?
Yes. Everything is heated. The molds are heated and the heat from the steam inside the bladder vulcanizes the rubber.
The molds heated to 360 degrees canister heated to 371 for production tires. Cure in nitrogen. I know all about the encoder systems and programmable logic controllers. 230psi steam. 300 psi nitrogen 7psi nitrogen shaping pressure
I know all about bag o matic presses. HF presses Uzers. Etc
@@Mike-pj8fo our bladders run nitrogen. The canister and palten run steam.
You can use low pressure steam in the bladder. But nitrogen is better
