Thank you for making this video. I too suffer from eye problems, and the fact that you are older than me and still productive in encouraging! I am teaching Breathing Under Water, Spirituality and the 12 Steps by Richard Rohr--starting tomorrow in my Soul Sisters Class at Johns Creek UMC. I wanted to know the origins of the Bill Wilson story--it is encouraging to hear that from his problem, he was able to help others. We are ALL addicts. It is just more apparant in the alcoholic and drug addict. Thank you for sharing. I hope to help others transform their lives, just as Bill Wilson has done. We have to go to the ch 12--what goes around must come around-- thank you again for taking the time to share.

Bill Wilson came up with the ideal of alcoholics anonymous... He said he had a spiritual awakening that caused him to write a book called The Blue book.

A simple and honest surrender to this thing, is one of toughest things I've experienced in my life, so far. I can spend hours of just one day in the principles of denial. I can deny it all I want, but if I believe in the truth of God's will, then I must believe that God made me this way-- with an allergy to alcohol. Alcohol was my first spiritual experience, and that is one truth that's hard to escape. But, there is another solution. I do believe in that.

The night before this battle (Dec 31, 1967 New Year's eve) about 12 hours before the battle began (11pm Vietnam time) Jan 1, '68 I was at a Doors concert in a ballroom (Family Dog) in Denver. We had no idea US Forces at Fire Base Burt (Suoi Cut) had engaged in such a huge battle the next day. Oliver Stone was there for the battle. The battle was fought here: 11°34'51.60"N 106°22'19.20"E

I think Lois Remembers is a good read.

I think Lois remembers has quite a bit of the struggles, that the original founders encountered.

It's amazing Lois keep carrying the message well into her old age.

I have been reading Lois Remembers, and I found thete is a lot of history of A.A. and Alanon. Bill and Lois had many struggles, but blessings also.

God really found a purpose for Lois, even after her husband passed.

I didn't know Lois and Ann passed four years apart. Lois outlived Ann by four years. Lois passed the year my son was born in 1988.
