Welcome to Sonic Junkie Recording Studio. Our channel offers a deep dive into electronic music through live DJ performances and immersive soundscapes with DJ sets that showcase a variety of styles within the electronic music genre.

Sonic Junkie Recording Studio is operated by members of Dispatch Collective, a Brooklyn-based arts collective co-founded in 2021 by Vano Chikhladze, AKA music producer Sonic Junkie. In December 2023, tragedy struck Dispatch Collective and the global music community when Vano passed unexpectedly. Sonic Junkie Recording Studio was launched a few months later as an initiative to honor Vano’s memory. Equipment in the Sonic Junkie Recording Studio, which includes a customized DJ-table and over 12 synthesizers, is donated from Vano’s home studio.

Vano believed strongly in building community, having the freedom to experiment, and using the arts as a tool for transformation on a local and global level. We honor his legacy through Sonic Junkie Recording Studio.
