2015 Subaru Legacy Shifter LED replacement
The shift indicator plate has 2 LED circuit boards that back-light the letters.
Subaru part# 35170AL00A.
I am not aware of being able to purchase just the 2 LED circuit boards stand-alone.

Fisher Paykel Washer - How to install Fuse Kit required for new 479595 pump
มุมมอง 2.1Kปีที่แล้ว
I ordered a new pump motor for my GWL11US Fisher Paykel Washer. They supply a fuse kit with this purchase. I believe this kit is to keep electrical problems from the pump damaging the control board. Some of the instructions from suppliers were a bit incomplete for do-it-yourselfers. The color copy I got from F-P with my order were much better, but the quality of the copy was quite fuzzy. I made...
This guy must be an old Doctor. What a stupid Vid
Well my pump came without a fuse, I can confirm you will fry the fuse in the main board if you don't install this fuse. Mine was working minus the drain pump, ordrered a new pump off Amazon, installed it plugged it back in and the board it dead, removed the board and sure enough the main fuse on the board is fried. Sadly it soldered to the board, but I can probably still replace it.
Hand slipped and clipped the brown wire close to the harness while trying to install the fuse. Am I basically now in need of a new computer controller board? Very frustrating depressing...
Very helpful but you need to read instructions carefully that come with drain pump. I have a GWL15 and the fuse splced into the white wire (not the brown).
I’m replacing a pump ordered direct from FP. I ordered the cheaper older pump as it should be compatible. But they sent the newer style and charged cheaper price. My fisher paykel already has a fuse in line on the white wire (even though the existing fuse label says use brown wire.) New fuse and instructions say use fuse installed on the brown wire which is not cut. So shall I assume this safety feature has already been done and works with white wire? I’ll try straight motor install and test. Then if not maybe splice fuse into the brown wire. Any guidance from similar experiences?
Thanks. Installed the pump, super easy ... still didn't pump water. Hopefully installing the fuse will make it work ... ugh.
I subscribed. Keep up the great work!
I can't begin to tell you what a Blessing your tutorial is to me. Not only did you explain the process thoroughly (so this old girl could understand), you did it on the exact machine I have! I just can't afford "repairmen." The guy that Fisher & Paykel recommended to replace the bearing last year, not only made me wait 2 weeks for him to get the bearing & get here (bearings can be bought in Auto Parts stores!), he told me on the phone that it was $89 for the bearing and he'd take that cost off the labor if I bought it from him. I was very busy with volunteering work, so I just said to go ahead and get it done already. When he was finished, he handed me a bill for $885 ! The rest is a longer story. I just wanted to thank you. May God Bless you in Abundance!! Dee
Glad I could help. You sound like me. You look at the situation and if it seems pretty clear what the problem is and your guess on the part is not too expensive, you give it a try. I'm no repairman either. Great on volunteering. His House with many, many rooms awaits, you.
@@helpinout2637 I have replaced so many parts on that machine, it's practically new! I bought it because I was told, "Fisher & Paykel are easy to work on!" I've replaced parts in my oven 3 times, Fixed my AC once. Replaced furnace parts, twice. And don't get me started on my "drip system" for septic! It costs $400 JUST to have the septic guys make the drive out here! No kidding! I don't mind living in the sticks, but whoever said it was more "economical" was lying. Keep up the good work. You did a good thing!
What site/place did you order the part from?

Is your new pump loud? I just installed a new pump last night and WOW is that pump loud. I am seriously thinking about getting a new washer just because that pump is so so loud. - They sent me that white pump but the original is black and white. I have heard horror stories about the "New" pump ... they are loud, only last about a year ect.....
My washer is in the basement so I'm not really around it except for the beginning when it starts 'wetting' the clothes as it fills. I'll say the sound is different. I'll have to catch when it is actually emptying...maybe it runs faster/louder then. I ordered direct from FP because the picture on their site showed what my old one looked like. The impeller was more contoured and the fan end had six? fins. However, what I got looked just like the cheaper ones offered by many sellers. I should have looked for the actual manufacturer name on it before I installed. There is always a balance between what you think you can fix yourself and cost and savings. Good luck.
@@helpinout2637 If F&P get Loud, like a Jet is Taking Off, they need new bearings.
