Who needs a GoPro when you have a DSLR!? I took my Canon 550D skiing. This was my third day skiing, so nothing fancy. I didn't feel very comfortable skiing down the "intermediate" slopes with my camera. Filmed at Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort in Vadito, New Mexico. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel. Hello where can I find the sheet music to this song?
What about sharpening the video before upload it?
Sharpening the image technically only degrades the image, so yeah, it could make it look sharper a bit but it's not going to help with reducing compression artifacts.

Is it just me or do you not see any improvement/downgrade from 1080p -> 4k and 4k -> 1080p?

What if I upscale my footage from 4k to 8k or even just went nuts and did 32k. Would this decrease compression further, or no?
should do the trick, tho i dont think youtube supports 32k... yet

how'd you pack the camera? I'm terrified to take mine up snowboarding.
+Jeffrey Ralph I had a tiny backpack on my back with towels to wipe the camera. Of course a lens cleaner is a must. You'd be surprised how robust these DSLRs are! This winter I took a 7D on a ski trip with a Glidecam. It got soaked and stopped working at the end of the day, but I dried it up and now works like new.
