good questions! Right now, you can manually save the game exactly where you are, wherever you are, either from the pause menu or with F5 additionally, the game autosaves at the beginning of each level. Right now there is only one save slot though, so I need to create a separate autosave file in addition to the manual save so players can recover in case they save in a bad spot. It doesn't effect me during active dev, but it will need to happen eventually. There is no penalty for death right now, other than time lost. There's no currency - it's a very binary "you either have an upgrade/tool, or you don't" system, like older style games. The progress is in the number of tools/upgrades you've gathered.

It's more engageable for the type of game I want to make. Top down games/Zelda likes tend to be more combat focused, but i realized I wanted something closer to a platforner while I was developing it.

Nope, you just have to cherry pick where you go. I use the Faction Warfare screen and route through the frontlines

I don't want to use a PG implant, the T2 ancil is required to make it all fit. I'd have to downsize to 125mm guns for a T1 ancil, which means I'd lose DPS and range, both of which are important for this fit.

All of these are PvP fits. Sadly, there are no T1 frigs that are good for PvE beyond level 1 security missions lol

I found two webs to be quite enough tbh. First they panic because they didn't expect that amount of dps, then with a bit of fumbling and controlled deactivation of one web after the other you buy yourself enough time for them to die before they ever get to warp speed.

@@KonateTheGreat The crucifier guy was using a platform which is bad at solo pvp (which you should know since you call yourself a "real pvper"). You are the one with no honor, agreeing on wapring to 0 and then warping to 30.

I just roam around and ask. A lot of people in null are probably bored. It did take about 2 hours just to get this hit tho, most of PH is kinda dead If you want to 1vX, you'll need to bring a kite boat

@LukeCamelo as much as I'd love to be able to just "not make ugly art", I'm a programmer first, artist second. My art is just always going to be kinda ass, so I'm just doing the best I can lol

@@KonateTheGreat That philosophy also involves reshipping to give people even fights, so I disagree with that logic. You slid into a fit intended to kill Slicers, Kikimoras, and all Assault Frigates with Turrets with the exception of the Ishkur. When you rocked up, I was actively waiting for a Kikimora in the Small Advanced. If I had known that you were coming back for T1 frigate brawls, I would have offered AB + Scram + Web + MASB condor fights in the Scout instead.
