How did the SU’s take the suck through application? Do the AFR’s stay reasonable under load. What sort of hp you get out of hif44?

I'm guessing 85-90 or so.... 1275 supercharged have usually 110hp with stock heads and camshaft

Engine mounts have a bit of play in them.
Clearly you know nothing about classic Mini's. The engine mounts are fine, the body has the play 😆

Seems to pull well at higher speeds, loads better than my 1275!
How about using a gas flowed HS6 from e.g. an old jag (as I have), will give more mixture than an HIF38, & more compact than a twin Weber. Whatever, nice, very nice.
I use also HIF44 for better performance (see others videos in my channel)
@@Tom-zw2sb Quite right, I have to lean out the HS6 to pass the MOT, the HIF44 is better for emissions (but a little less power). 👍

I love your work Tom. I am currently doing a cam upgrade on an SC12 Supercharged 1098 +0.60" with a slightly modded 12G202 and a HIF44, Do you mind if I ask what Camshaft you have in this one?
that's custom camshaft but similar to BMC731 ( 268/268 )

hi, engine is 998 A+ flat top pistons with ported 21G202 cylinder head (and increased combustion chamber), 8.0CR , run at 12 psi and using HIF44 carb, std gearbox with 3.10 final drive

Hey Tom, I have a quick question, I have a M-24 for a V twin project, I love that belt tensioner your running. What is it off of by chance? Is it for a Eaton blower or something else you found that fit like that? The bolt pattern looks pretty much perfect, I can deal with spinning up some spacers. It would save me so much time with trials and errors if you happen to know what it's off of??? Thanks Jim.

That really runs absolutely mint! Like its not even on the engine, no surge or anything! I'm doing a very similar thing using the Eaton M-24 and I'm looking for the idler pulley setup your using on your M-24 to tension the belt. Any chance you could possibly tell me what the idler is off of??? It would be a huge help and time saver. Thanks for posting your project, I love seeing different ideas of engineering!

I love your work. I have a spare 1098 engine and a 12G295 that I will eventually build up and Supercharge. What canshaft are you using? if you don't mind me asking.
Thats a std 998 engine ( stock cam ) with ported 12G202 head ( and increased chamber to down the CR ) but you can use a good mild road cam for more improvement.
