8th July 2017 This was an event held at Rangiora airport in Canterbury to celebrate the maiden flight of Brent Thomson's aerobatic Rans S-10 high performance microlight aeroplane. This video was created for Jeff and Ali to celebrate their union on the 31st January 2016. The film was shot on a Canon 60D using a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 lens. It was edited using Lightworks 12.6. This little video was made to show my kids and friends how to film and edit a video. This was shot on a Canon 60D using a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 lense. It was edited using Lightworks 12.6. Lighting and exposure proved challenging as we were trying to film over several evenings as the sun was setting (as that was a convenient time for us). So a bit of work had to be done in equalising the exposure...

I have been in that situation - unfortunately it didn't end that well (for the gorse that is, har har :>)!
An Oscar winner if I ever saw one! Tension building, special effects, a prickly situation, a hero with a close call rescued by a fair damsel and a surprise ending. And what can I say about the score! I can't wait for the sequel, "the Revenge of the Puller Bears"
