A Brand New Home in 45 Days? This Modern Modular Design Makes It Possible
Well Patsy said she came down, started coffee and whatever. So from the picture you show Patsy would have had to found the note prior to starting coffee??
If you guys/gals do some more deep digging into this case, you will probably come to the conclusion that its highly unlikely that the parents did this. Also, no way on earth a 9 year old Burke did this. Think about it, he brutally smashes his little sisters head, ultimately killing her. The parents, in an attempt to cover for Burke carefully orchestrate a gruesome strangulation with a garrote, sexually assault her, use a stun gun, and craft a ludicrous note with pen and paper right out of their own house without leaving a trace of evidence.
I wonder how did the killer know they primarily used the spiral staircase? How come the ransom note wasn't left on the kitchen counter, or front door staircase??
I agree completely.
@@thelatinbarbie24Probably because the perp had been in the home.
Too many things happened while the Ramsey's were supposedly asleep: the child gets up and eats pineapple in the kitchen, a flashlight is left on the counter, she goes back to sleep and wets the bed and someone changes her clothes and throws them in the hamper, she's taken down to the basement where she's molested then bludgeoned, all the while the parents are tucked in bed.
The parents did this to cover up the fact that their son did this.
What if John was sexually abusing Jon Benet?
I hope all of you seen or at least heard of "the oldest view" the empty plot of land that was once the valley view center mall has been made into a series by @Kane pixels (TH-cam) its truly something special especially the fact that the valley view mall in his series is actually a photorealistic rendering / video of the mall. If you haven't seen it i totally recommend watching it from start to end (part 3 includes the mall)
What a lovely conversation.
Steve Dieckhoff chess master rock climber odd job carpenter in the Ramsey neighborhood did it
What proof do you have?
Great interview.
Yes bring new jobs and restaurants and hotels and retail to this area
We'll be walking on the surface of Mars before this project is completed.
@@FrankinDallas This area is unique in how it was once the luxury capital of the universe. There were once four malls competing within a 1.5 square mile area if Sakowitz Village is accounted for. There was once a Bloomingdales at Valley View, a Saks and a Marshall Fields at The Gallery Dallas, a Neiman Marcus and a Lord & Taylor at Preston Wood Town Mall, and a Sakowitz at Sakowitz Village. Add to that the large number of Furniture and Furnishing stores west of the Galleria in Farmers Branch and the 200 restaurants and 3000 hotel rooms in Addison and one had a ridiculous amount of retail. The city of Dallas has never helped this area, but perpetuated the slum it is fast becoming. Plain and simple.
Yep. Look at the history of “Dallas Midtown” stories. Every year is “we will break ground next year”. Beck, Please sell to a real developer!
@@SicemBear06 What is going on below the conscience is how in nearby Farmers Branch and Addison other developments are continuing. Really, to make that development work, they need to find a major corporation or two to relocate and allow them to build low-rise "camp asses." If I ever hear the announcement of construction on another tall empty office building in Dallas, I will gag up all my intestines.
The area is still developing. It is just spreading in from the west and north from the respective cities of Farmers Branch and Addison. The city of Dallas is just impossible to deal with and has been for fifty plus years. Can't get there from here. R.I.P. (TAPS!)
If they want to develop the area, quit trying to build lots of tall empty office buildings. To get corporations to anchor the development, let them build campuses.
Who said it will be office buildings? The zoning allows for buildings up to 40 stories. Campuses are the opposite of an urban downtown-like development. Legacy West - a suburban-style office park isn’t what they’re going for.
@@214dude2 Good luck with making a development work without attracting a corporation or two as anchors. Personally, why is the city of Dallas sticking its nose into it? Those amateur real estate experts are trying to gentrify the whole city across the board which, if you think about it, is just the opposite of gentrification. If no corporations, no development. Might as well just break it up piecemeal and let it develop as unplanned in-fill. Scott Beck needs to leave his legacy in Frisco where he can find friends.
@@214dude2 And if you desire a New York style urban area, that has never been Dallas. After they did build a lot of skyscrapers in downtown, companies never came to fill them going on forty years now. The beauty of Dallas is it's many horizontally built iconic shopping centers and not a lot of tall empty office buildings.
Well said Beck
An incompetent police department crime and theft.
I researched your TH-cam channel and found the video quality is very good but there are some problems you have not done proper SEO due to which your videos are not getting views at all. Your channel is frozen due to lack of proper SEO so now is the time if you solve your channel problems then surely your channel will start getting views and subs.
Another really great conversation. Would love to hear more from him and other developers :)
a fun story? What the f is this dummy talking about?
Super informative. Subscribing and gonna have to check back regularly. 👍
The NIMBY boomers will burn the city to the ground before they allow more housing to be built for their children.
Pennywise is calling
Let the free market figure this out rather than central planners.
I want to disagree with the guest. The 6% in the scheme of things is nothing. I do Think that as prices rise so should a brokers money. If a market has doubled in price it is going to cost a lot to live, even more to market the home as cost of printing and photographers is likely to rise etc. why should a realtor be punished and paid less for it? I am not a realtor nor want to be, just see the increased housing cost and with it the general cost of living increases to allow an agent to get a raise to compete. The top agents with the best contacts are still gonna get the most expensive homes and the new agents will still have to hustle for the cheapest homes as they build their Rolodex. Can you imagine a starting agent making say 1% of a 150k home in the worst neighborhoods? If they are extraordinary people with tons of charm and door knocking will only net 30k. If their broker takes 40% That’s rough to live on today. Of course we are seeing the traditional brokerage model die with the internet and fathoms of the world
And I agree that new agents need to have more real world experience. I have a close friend that just started (part time) with a large luxury broker and they gave her a mentor that is successful and seasonsed. But, during her first transaction, my friend was coming to me for help on how to handle everything. I am not even with the same broker. Her mentor was too busy to assist her very much apparently. When I started I was lucky to have had Keith Cox add me to his team. It is unfair to "learn on the backs" of your clients who trust you as an expert.
Excellent show, Candy. :)
Thanks Jim, thanks Candy......Good episode. Jim was a great choice to discuss this current situation.
The important information is explained at th-cam.com/video/m_u5J_2V-eE/w-d-xo.html. i.e. If your home has been apprised by the county at market value then the correct value to have that appraisal based on is Jan1 and NOT Jun1 which is at the height of the market cause everyone wants to move in June so you need to tell your realtor to grab the comps from Jan1 or as close to that date as possible. If your county appraisal is below your market value as is the case for long time owners then there's really nothing you can do because the difference between county assessed value and market value is huge and you'll never find enough necessary work to be done to your home to reduce its market value below county assessed value. This is why the SOBs appraise your property at %110 because its the maximum allowed by texas law and if you're not already assessed by the county at market value then they're gonna want to get as much tax out of you as is allowed by texas law.
That Santa Claus thing sounds very SUS .. I too wondered about the son .. and I never thought either parent did it.
This is great!
Michaella, what an awesome presentation and it is always a great pleasure to serve you and your clients. Debra and I truly bring a blessing to your entrepreneurship and wish you a great success.
As a child who went there and saw ladies knitting and spinning at a very challenging time in my childhood, this trip would change my life forever. In 2020 I was blessed to volunteer and then be hired to spin and demonstrate at the very first spinning wheel I ever saw. I now volunteer in Weatherford at Doss Pioneer Park. My heart is broken that our children will never what I saw in 1978. It was a total full circle moment while out there. Thank you for sharing this. Heart broken.
Well said. I’m upset with myself for not having been back for the candlelight in the park at least one more time. It’s kind of depressing. I remember my dad always having to go look at the antique printing presses when we went, he ran a letterpress for most of his life. I’ve always wished more people would take interest.
Burke may of killed jonbenet . BUT. He never put on the choker thing. No way
What choker thing? Was it a Garrot?
@shirleymason3853 Kind of. It was made from one of Patsy's paint brushes. John was in the Navy, and knew knotting. Burke was in scouts, and knew knotting. However, she died of strangulation, not by the make shift garrot. Go to TCRS, Nick Vander Leek is a wealth of information!
Well, the thing is, bc there are several ligature marks left, that can only form with a live heartbeat and blood flow.. the ligatures and neck garret happened up to the point of death at least 3 times..likely more.. possible after death.. but those would would not leave neck bruising , only skin damage.. I hope that’s not too graphic.. this was absolutely evil 😢
I have two questions. Our neighbor's house assessed at a higher value than our house, but their prop tax was lower than ours. Exact same home layout. Built same year. How do we protest that? How do we file for an exemption? State of Nevada.
Hi Rob, Thanks for the question. Let's see if we can find out!
@@candysdirt Upon further review I read the assessment wrong. My assessment was actually higher than my neighbors. So it makes sense our tax was higher. Now trying to figure why our assessment was higher!
ForwardDallas seems a lot like this HOME nonsense of Cali techbros deciding Texas’ future. th-cam.com/video/r2xqSuuSdns/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cklPa2Pt7fEVjK3x
Seems like ForwardDallas is an extension of this: th-cam.com/video/r2xqSuuSdns/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cklPa2Pt7fEVjK3x
I think pushing the testing is fake to keep up his image. Ladies, John and Patsey Ramsey refuse a Polygraph test. They refused to cooperate. No intruder. And yes they qould protect one another because their inage was EVERYTHING!!! They loved their children no doubt but their money and image was extremely important. It was definitely a coverup. The R parents were indicted but the DA refused to sign the paperwork. Money and friendship IMO is why they they got away with the perfect crime. At this point if Burke did it he was a minor if the parents one or both did it they got away with it. Complete coverup. They lost their many beat friends over this. RiP JonBenet. God know all and so does JonBenet. All this is IMO only. May the killers never have a restful nights sleep
Thanks for watching Libby. I agree, their image was everything. But I just have a hard time imagining not only standing united with your spouse for such a violent crime so that you maintain the facade of a good life, but manipulating the crime scene and desecrating your beloved daughter's body for a crime your spouse committed. I'd want to keep up the image, sure, but I feel like my loyalties would lie with the child I bore versus the husband I now realize is capable of murder. - Shelby
I see where I make my mistakes are lengthy messages.
They did drink
Yes I remember that they talked about having drinks, and they were getting older how is that bad?
I decided to type in my last name and came across this video. Didn’t know he, my brother, had done this interview. Why don’t you now have our Dad on. He is retired and can tell you better about the past and the projects Dad was the lead on not him or others at MasterPlan as our Dad built the company and gifted it to Dallas and then there is more to the story on that I’ll just say. Let me know bc I’m sure Dad would love to come on and do several episodes. I am the one who sees Dad and takes care of him and can get him there. He’d love to do that and like I said can fill in even more details about guess father and the city since the 50’s.
I mostly agree with him but he completely misses the mark with his take on upzoning single-family neighborhoods. The vast majority of Dallas is zoned for single-family housing, the stuff he claims to support literally cannot happen on a significant scale without addressing that. It's not "changing the rules of the game" to recognize that our land use policies are terribly wasteful and anti-free market. It's ridiculous that we enable such an entitled attitude among homeowners who know for a fact that their neighborhoods wouldn't exist if not for government mandate. If someone wants to build a duplex or triplex on their property, that should be THEIR decision to make, not their neighbor's.
Thanks for your take Dbear and thanks for watching! Do you think Dallas' troubled land use policies are best solved by government mandate or homeowners themselves? It's a complex dilemma for sure.
This was such an interesting video! Thanks for sharing, love this!!!
