Using an app called NFCXYZ you are able to write your own tags using this method. May i ask, what is the wattage rating of the dremel 3d40?
Just went to Google play to download the app but it is not listed for the android phone. Was it taken down? Is there another site where the app can be downloaded?
The app works perfect for my Da Vinci mini w! I ordered 13.56MHz NTAG213 and write them with Samsung galaxy A3!

Funciona para a impressora da vinci mini maker?? Minha máquina não puxa mais o filamento dps que o primeiro acabou. Vi uns vídeos que falam que o problema é no chip nfc mesmo

Hi, I was trying to write my own tag, but after clicking on write tag and after message "successfully updated tag" my tag is still empty - what should I do? My tags are shit or what?
Happily I have hundreds of NRF213 (round stickers) around. The application is not really user friendly but it works with the xyz nano.
How do you manage to make it work mine doesnt work
@@polgasize I bought a creality ender 5s1 Instead. It's working but too many problems that are just due to DRM on this printer.
Unfortunately the linked tags are currently out of stock and unavailable in the US. I'm digging around looking for something comparable. Will share if I find anything.
we can use any NFC Tags NTAG213, it worked for me

yes
You could use an old empty spool and rewind it with the cheaper version filament. I know that sounds like work but I have my students do that.
Is it possible to use on da vinci mini w or w+?
What do I do if the chip is locked?
Have you tried different filament brands with solution?
I hve the same printer. I was super lucky. The printer is calibrated and designed better than other printers. I’m having issue with too much tension on the filament going into the extruded head, the white guide tube might be the issue,u are right,I need to change that,thanks! Did u notice the RFID tags on the original (dremel)spools? Just wondering if u knw why.
What do i do if the chip says locked
This app seems to be the answer. However the only spare chip I have is the original pub type. It reads it fine but it is locked. All the new nfc chips on the filament spools are a black adhesive sticker. The app can't read these. Any suggestions please?

Hiya, What is wrong with your Motherboard? I have had the same issue with the XYZ Super and exploring two options 1, Trying to get the board fixed 2, Replacing the whole board with Ramps or Duet which will feature in an upcoming video once our Sony Camera arrives :) My Super board EEPROM chipped shorted. Mine won’t connect via usb won’t recognise it
I think the issue is probably a damaged pin on the usb port, I do know a company in the UK can fix 3D Printers Motherboards, you can also try a technique that you upload the SD Card. I will show that later in the series ☺️ let me know if you want details on the company that fixes them in the UK. Thanks Ryan
