If you played on console, or an older PC it would have ran perfectly fine, the issue comes about on modern CPU's with multiple cores. Interesting that the issue is only in Denerim however

Also episode 60! Glad you're enjoying the ride still. This series was really fun to make

@adeemuff LOL that's true, technically the deep roads are supposed to travel under the entire world of thedas. Maybe the Anvil is just in the western thaigs? Would have been interesting to be able to use the deep roads to access different regions in Ferelden though vs always fast travelling around

I haven't actually thought about that with this encounter before, but you're absolutely right that does directly contradict the codex lore. I can think of only one other example of this with the mad hermit in the forest. The lore entry "Cardinal rules of Magic" says that teleportation magic AND resurrection magic is completely impossible. Good catch!

Fact check! The mad hermit doesn't teleport, If you have Morrigan in the party with you she remarks he is using illusions, not teleporting! I guess the level designer hadn't brushed up on his Thedas lore for the arcane horror in this encounter!

They are wonderfully written, with so much nuance and relatability, there's more than a few nuggets of wisdom in the dialogues too. One of the reasons I revisit this one so much. I'm glad you're enjoying the series, here's to your continued success!

@adeemuff Haha he is! I did not notice that in the moment. Explains how chonky he felt, luckily she uses winters grasp for the rest of the rev fights 😂

@adeemuff Part of me thinks that's why they never patched it, especially since there's one in Dragon Age 2 aswell. I think I spent most of my first playthrough saving up for the necklace and axe from Bodahn before I discovered you could double your money 😂

@antoniopannuti2088 indeed! It's always fun to see her pop up in other games aside from origins, she has such a recognizable voice I'm always like, "Hey! That's morrigan" haha

@antoniopannuti2088 thats an interesting theory, I always kinda chalked the vision thing down to her just having an odd dream about the blight. I would like to know just how much influence flemeth has over the events of these games, she certainly likes to meddle in major events, the warden and the champion basically owe their lives to her and we know she had ulterior motives with Morrigan, so any other cookie jars with her hands in them wouldn't exactly surprise me

That being said, there are a few hints that leliana is somehow special, I believe she's the only companion that comes back if she dies in Origins. She'll be in 2 and inq no matter what, Vanishing at the end of the third game. That might add some credence to the vision she claims, or maybe it was flemeth giving her a little nudge, good food for thought
