Please don't be giving out wrong information. Everything was good until you talked about the dots. If a tire has both a yellow and red dot then the red dot takes priority over the yellow and the red dot gets aligned with the valve stem.

So why does any of this matter if you balance a tire. Other than you may have to add more weight. Also every valve stem is a different weight so even if you did line it up or not you still need to balance the tire. Rims are the same way. They have high spots and low spots. They also have density differences throughout the wheel. Once again the dots really dont matter. A road force balancer could measure both rim and tire and match up the perfect alignment. Once again dots dont matter much.

I did not know this. After looking at all 9 of my fleet vehicles tires, I need to find a new tire shop.

Just got 4 new tires put on my truck, not only did they put the wrong tires on it, none of the yellow dots are near the valve stem, they put 4 ply rated tires on when i payed for 10 ply rated tires, they said they would put the right tires on and appoligised for the mix up, skilled labor isn't cheap and cheap labor isn't skilled

Just got two new tires installed. Checked where the dogs were and the yellow dots are near the valve. That means this shop knows what they’re doing :)

Range will probably be an issue becsuse if the additional weight, but most of these cars are being driven short distances in metro areas like Manhattan, Paris, London anyways.

I don't understand the armored ev push. It makes no sense whatsoever. The cost vs benefit analysis for this is just ridiculous. You would have gained nothing other than loss when compared to an armored ICE variant.
