Well done.
Great Video Troy, was this your first time in London? I was born the other side, then lived in Swindon and was in and out of London regally then moved down to Buckland Brewer Devon and it's a long way back up to the smoke from here. The train is a good option, having broke my Land Rover my replacement Citroen C1 is ULEZ free ! but I would train it from Barnstaple (although the times plus what 2 hours on top of yours) Anyway I bet that was a great adventure day out Thanks for posting the video !
@TurboTimsWorld I've been to London a few times as a child and twice as an adult. I took the train up because I knew it would be impossible to park the car. I went from tiverton parkway the train took about 2 hours. It was my first event like this though.
Very intresting to watch hear some of people u talked 2. Also how meny people was there. Thanks 4 showing us
Dont get lost
@Anita-j7j7h my phone knew where I was, lol. Thank you
Years ago (Im talking in the 80's) the tax on Tobacco was supposed to cover 6 times the national health costs of a smokers care resulting from smoking, the problem And this is like fuel People stopped smoking or bought better MPG cars and the revenue went down so they upped the tax.
@TurboTimsWorld Most people vape these days, to which I think is worse than smoking. However as I said said in this video I could shift that tobacco in a week as the government are pushing tobacco into the black market.
Thanks for the mention at Puffing Billy Troy !! Yes I did a ride on the first train out of Torrington station in what 30 or 40yrs, And its a new preserved railway I know its only a few 100yrds long but I still have the ticket and if they opened it more than once every bank holiday I would pay the fare to support them ! Yarde cafe is that still open? the best bacon and Bree breakfast in the west!
@TurboTimsWorld well you got a video of the train moving. It look like it went further on your video.
Troy at your Ridd canal charge up stop, the canal.... The canal came 45 degrees across the tarka trail, the railway at was built through and ended the canal the white lines show the path of the old canal... BUT where the picnic bench is where the upper canal ended where you bike is parked on the Tarka and the slope down behind it is where the boats was pulled up over a dam and then down to the Torridge river below on a counter balance pulling empties up using the limited power from the water wheel in the chamber below you. (sort of like Lynton and Lynmouth hill railway) Devon boats had wheels! If you had stopped at the viewing platform at the Torrington end of the land cross tunnel there is a boat upside down with the wheels showing, (there's also a massive canal incline on the Holsworthy to Bude road, wood carver lay by) Devon canal boats had wheels, but the thing you missed 100yrds from your stop point was an old Pub (on the left heading Torrington) only about 5ft of wall 2 fire places in the hedges remain. Great video and well done coz I would have done it the other way Down Hill LOL xx
@TurboTimsWorld If I knew it was there, I would have done some research beforehand. I did look into it when I got home, as I struggled to get a full picture from those signs.
Well done dude tiz a long way I've done it a couple of times 🥵🥵🥵
@adrianwhite-gr3qk I don't fancy it again.
You rode further then I did well done :)
I went to chelfham mill in the 70s what a brilliant school seeing it in that state really upsets me I got loads of memory going there. Rip chelfham allways thinking of you
Thank you for doing this..
Your definitely on the register🤣
@thereallinguini9034 yes to many minis filmed in this video.
I worked for 6 years across the road in Shaplands, that's gone, I hear Lidl's next to it is going as well. Barny's a shell of what it was 25 years ago, many of the fields and woods have been torn up and built on since I was a kid in north Devon, locals can't afford to get on the ladder now. Many of the factories have gone, outsourced abroad, there were up to 8 clothing factories in the town, Sussman's , Leffman's, Chelsea quilt etc, Clark's shoes had two factories, Abbeyfield I and II, engineering firms, wood machining companies. Factory Friday was manic, everyone kicked out at lunchtime on a Friday, pay packets in hand, pubs, cafes, the market all busy, shops thriving. Many an interfirm footie match organised in a pub after too much boasting! As for Shappies? Lunchtime hundreds poured out in cars, on foot or on bikes, a tsunami of humanity!
Its amazing at how well you filmed this, I remember going to this leisure centre with our family in 1981 as a young kid and its sad that eventually all older buildings reach this state. i can only think the new leisure center will be even bigger and more updated
@marcelorozengurt4432 The new leisure centre isn't as good, so I've been told. Smaller pool and not as deep.
Thanks for the videos. I used to play basketball Saturday mornings here in 1991 and work experience. I was a lifeguard there in 2005 so I know pretty much every inch of the building. I still find it upsetting now that it’s no longer there as it was a big part of my childhood and adult working life as well as many other people. All the best.
@OlHanniballovethejazz I learned how to swim there and went to clubs there as a child. Watching my drone footage was sad sometimes. However I always had an interest in the building itself due to how unique it is.
Oh I missed you I was just inside the park and after it finished drove back down the quay
@TurboTimsWorld we will have a cross over one day lol.
Ginger people have no soul and are very mean
Is it raining outside?
alot of damage like the torys how they fucked the uk for last decade ?
It all started with tony blair, the government stopped spending our money in the right places.
Wimpy a blast from the past for me, when I moved down here 10yrs ago I thought Wimpy country wide had gone down the pan in the 1980's but no still going strong in Barnstaple !!! A review video is needed !
I haven't been to wimpy since I was a child, I wouldn't know what it is like but there is always people in there. There was a wimpy in Roundswell however it was closed down dew to reasons I can't say on here, I'm just pleased I never went there lol.

Bit noncey tbh.
How is this noncey?
It just is mate🤣
What height were you at? Would they be able to hear the drone from that height?
About 12m I couldn't really go much lower or else I lose line of sight. You should have been able to notice it.
That place stopped selling anything usefull or good value about a year after it opened. Utter junk.
I think it's just where rich people go to buy rubbish to fill up the bins. Lol.
Your vlog made me laugh thanks for that 👍😂
The Aircraft is doing this to gently get the fighting age men of North Devon used to military activity, this way it will not be such a shock when people like you Troy get their draft papers later this year.
I am 31 I don't know if they will have me lol
Less of your mates ass in the next video please troy 😂
Did you find anything interesting?
Found a basementer with an old well in it
I find it's great that you help people out like that. Have you considered to ask people as such to seek mental help? Often they have a trauma to solve and can't do it on their own.
She is getting help, I don't want to go into too much detail about people's business. If you know what I mean.
this fucking place. i spent 10 years in this hellhole!
I'm a bit late to commenting but I fit a lot of door handles, the thing is with modern Brass handles, they are no longer bare brass. 99% of them are now lacquered to preserve the polished finish. So the lacquer prevents the anti bacterial properties. Usually only very expensive brass handles come unlacquered. This has been a pet peeve of mine for years, because the lacquer starts to chip and look terrible after a couple of years, so when I fit some nice brass handles that are lacquered, I tell the customer that once it starts to wear and chip to give them a rub down with acetone/nail polish remover to remove the remaining lacquer then polish the handles back up or leave them to develop a nice patina. It's a trend/style thing too and brass handles have gone out of fashion with younger people but I always try to push my customers towards quality brass, we live in a throw away society now though and very few people maintain or care about things like door handles and buy the cheapest crap they can. A decent pair of Brass handles are not even that expensive too, some are cheaper than the plated/chromed zinc based handles. Only good thing about it is, I've built up a nice collection of scrap brass over the years from changing handles.
Trolly agree, nothing is built to last anymore. I think the biggest problem is we live in a money orientated society.
No one talk highly of it at all
Great what they can do with tech these days, we can imagine oursleves being there, i'm a real location freak so it amzing to wander about on the ship. What's inside the Titanic -video th-cam.com/video/HLrBUwNSEo0/w-d-xo.html this video is one of the best that goes through & explain each deck and it's layout so using that and this to actually do it - is amazing! Thanks for uplaod and sharing your walk about. Let me grab by hat and cane and walk the Titanic!
Yes I would like to see other ships done as well that would be cool
@@troybot14 They are doing them in the Grand Voyage game release with will be a basic ship or two and then dlc for more from the launch video info
Ooh there a download there but says V2 so thought that was the older demo - probably just being dense lol
How did you get the areas that are closed of in demo? I downloaded the demo 3 (the latest on there website) but still a lot of areas are locked off?

@@troybot14 Thanks i kep going to downloads and demo's and as this link said demo and v2 thought it was an old download lol
There are video’s that show it sinking in real time. Not from the inside I don’t think, though.
Yes there is I don't think it in real time.
I LOVE your tour! I have Titanic:Adventure Out of Time and this puts that game to shame! Areas not shown in AoT! Wow!
There are more areas of the ship I didn't cover but I'm thinking about doing a part two to get them as there are some interesting parts I missed off.
Enjoyed the video, though you missed many spaces such as the First Class Smoking Room, À la Carte Restaurant, Café Parisien, some of the First Class suites on B Deck and C Deck as well as many crew spaces forward. A part two would be amazing, especially if you enjoyed this project this much! There is a helpful ship plan of Project 401 and the rooms available to explore located around the ship, it’s helpful to look at it and see where you have access. 1:19 Fun fact: The game’s name comes from the name of the clock that stood at the A Deck landing of the forward Grand Staircase. It was known as the “Honour & Glory Crowning Time”. 3:40 First Class Reception Room fitted in the English Reinassance Jacobean style. It was connected to the First Class Dining Saloon. First class passengers would gather here before dinner, socializing and awaiting to be directed to their dining table by the servants. Small pastries and drinks were served while the orchestra played tunes of the day. This room would have been the first impression of the Titanic for many First Class passengers entering through the two vestibules on either side of the room (45:56). 4:05 First Class Dining Saloon also fitted in the English Reinassance Jacobean style. It was the largest dining saloon at sea and could seat 554 passengers. Olympic and Titanic were the first ships in history to provide passengers with individual seating and private tables (to give the feel that passengers were actually dining in a restaurant on shore) instead of long, public seating, the norm of the time for ocean liners (this type of seating was still incorporated onboard but for Second and Third Class). 6:37 The Turkish Bath was a complex of multiple rooms. It represented a very early version of a modern spa. The room you just entered is called the Cooling Room. 8:13 Those two rooms are shampooing rooms. 8:33 Temperate room, Steam room and Hot room respectively. 7:08 The Swimming Bath, the last of the Turkish Bath process. 6:49 That’s an electric bath. During the early days of electricity, people believed it also had therapeutic purposes. A person would lay inside the enclosed chamber, while electricity would start going off inside it, causing an electric recharge on the person. The treatment was painless. The Olympic received two of them, but since they were rather unpopular, the Titanic received only one. 9:07 Linen storage. 11:28 White Star Line was all about comfort above anything else. That includes providing Third Class with their own dining saloon as well as lavatories. As was the norm of that era, ship line companies didn’t provide Third Class with any form of dining or bathing facilities, passengers being requested to supply themselves with their own food for the duration of the voyage. 20:52 Here you entered the Second Class Spaces of the Titanic, comparable to First Class on most ships of the era. 21:15 This is the Second Class Smoking Room, decorated in the French Louis XVI style. 24:22 Second Class Library, fitted in the English Neoclassical Adam style. 30:04 That is the wheelhouse (enclosed bridge), from where the ship was maneuvered during the voyage. The navigating bridge 30:20 (open bridge) was used when the ship was in dock/docking. There was also another one at the stern of the ship 22:46 called the docking bridge which, like they name suggests, was used for the same reason as the navigating bridge. 33:49 Those are the engines for the First Class elevators. Directly below were the three elevators that went from A Deck to E Deck. 33:46 This is the First Class Reading & Writing Room, decorated in the English Georgian style. The space was designed for women to gather after they enjoyed dinner. It was mainly used for socializing, reading and writing letters. The room was rather unpopular, the lounge next door being most preferred. 36:14 The First Class Lounge, probably the grandest room aboard, was decorated in the French Louis XV style, similar to the Palace of Versailles. 37:41 First Class cabin. 38:50 The Cardeza Suite, occupied by Charlotte Cardeza, her son Thomas and maid. She occupied one of the two Parlour Suites on B Deck, which featured the highest ticket prices and included a private promenade, private bathroom and shower and multiple dressing rooms. The Sitting Room was decorated in English Adam Style while the bedroom in Italian Reinassance style. The Private Promenade was designed in English Tudor style. 40:01 These three connected cabins belonged to the Ryerson Family. First Class passengers could purchase multiple cabins to form a stateroom as you could in a hotel. Two of them were decorated in Modern Dutch, while one was in Old Dutch style (40:12).
You know more than me 😂 I noticed I missed off a lot of the ship after watching. I'm am considering on doing a part two as there is still a lot more I could look at. It's a big ship.
What about me? Where can I do this tour?? Im not swimming in that ocean
There's a link in the description of the video
Where can I do this same tour on my own?
its literally in the description
@@daleholten3012 oops, I forgot to look there, thank you.
Yes it's in the description
Part 4? Are you still doing this series because everything aside i really enjoy seeing the cleaning transform the house.
The house has all been tidied up now. I only made the videos to help my friend keep a cleaner flat. I ask if I can do a follow up.
Damn - I wanna rescue those Sox/sodium street lights
What did they say to you?
There is a full video on my chammel. Not a lot other than we couldn't go in.
You'll want to get back down there pretty pronto as they're currently chomping down the tall building 😢😢 Next week, they're starting on the smaller bridge side and once the asbestos team are done, the bigger bridge side.
Im planning on going back there as soon as it stops raining
Few things to keep on the new housing estate... The glass brick curved wall, the bridge, and the clock? front balcony
The glass brick wall on the stairs, I think is damaged so it would need a repair. I do show what it looks like inside the bridge in this video. I don't think it will stay.
P.S how did u get in and not get caught?
I just walked through the door. How did I get not caught people don't pay much attention. I got caught on a different explore.
Thankyou so much for doing this , its fasinating to see , strange to think its all gone now though 😢
