Great presentation by BoldTalk. I personally have a couple of issues with the presenter Adaeze. I am not happy with her referring to Ojukwu as a warlord. He wasn't a warlord; he was the president of Biafra; it's that simple. I don't subscribe to the thoughts of emphasizing on Mrs. Ojukwu's beauty as if it's the only thing about her that opens doors for her. Our people oftentimes see her as beautiful because she's light skinned. They forget that she's a well learned smart, intelligent, and hardworking person, these are some of the things that push her through the glass ceilings of the corporate and government corridors. Everyone woman has a story is my overall assessment of this presentation. I was moved when Mrs. Ojukwu talked about the armed robber incidents along the road which may or may not have influenced her decision to marry him. Reuben Abati is unreasonable tribalist, a deep seated bigotry. This characteristic of Abati is the consequence of poor idealistic training. He has not worn off the cloth of hatred that was embedded in him by perhaps his upbringing. His doctoral degree (claimed) made him insanely self conceited and highly opinioted. But by that instinct, he exhibited characteristics of inferiority and frustration. He feared being overshadowed by a brighter more intelligent Orjy Okpe in the public place. One saw the ideal calmness of Ms Orjy Okpe that was the sign of a good journalist. I think Abati Reuben should learn from gentlemen like Mr Rufai Oseni etc. Yet ironically, Abati daily bread and his career in journalism are sourced from the generosity of Igbos that he so much hated. He has indeed, caused his personality to be disgraced in public by a brilliant Orjy Okpe who was even mockingly laughing at his foolery with Mr Rufai Oseni as always in his calm and gentlemanly manner watching Abati in absolute wonder. One could deduce from Mr Oseni's and Ms Orjy's face expression that both were stunned by the bout of anger from Abati but it is not far from the conclusion that such bahaviour from person of Abati's complex is meant to cover up their fear when they come before a person with a superior personality. It is the hallmark of bullies. Mr Tos Benson's comment in which contest he has claimed to have commented does not bear any oita of condemnation of the Igbos. But Abati has elected to present it with derogation. In all, Abati should be counselled to calm down his poor nerves and present the news impartially.
