Hitler said Munich defeated him, why simply quote Churchill and play the newsreel, neither was based on the data known to Chamberlain, it is like one historian simply quoting another, with no evidence.

In order to improve the public image of the Mignons, when Henry III and IV launched their campaigns of conquest in Italy, young men from the captured Italian cities would be brought to Paris and matched up against the Mignons in boxing and wrestling matches. Of course, they would always be considerably smaller in stature and would be sparsely fed for one week before the matches took place. Needless to say, the Mignons, bedecked in their fancy clothes, tights AND shoes, pulverized their unfortunate opponents with ease. During the matches, with their victims writhing in pain on the floor, they would take time to perform dances and pirouettes to the delight of the crowd. The matches always ended with the victorious Mignons standing above or even sitting on top of the losers while batting their eyelashes and posing effeminately. It was a funny but also cruel display. ONLY IN FRANCE!

The only problem I have with the reconstructions today is that the Tuthmosid line of kings were all Nubian (Sudanese) Reconstructions today all try to make the kings and queens of Ancient Egypt look Arab similar to the people that are there today. It's ok trying to fit in with today's "inclusive" movement, but it gives a false impression of what some of the Ancients really looked like.

Interesting! Here in Montpelier Vermont, we have a supposedly cursed bronze statue in our local cemetery that everyone calls Black Agnes. It’s said that if you sit in "her" lap, you will die before the next full moon. The statue is actually Thanatos the male god of death, but nobody calls it that. Look it up on the internet. It’s pretty creepy. Great video, btw!

She like the other Royal French Martyrs, and so many other people, a Martyr who was murdered by the evil creatures of the French revolution. She was a good person with virtues and honour, unlike the revolutionary scum! She never said "let them eat cake" and tried to help the poor. Unlike the revolutionary elit, who feast on good food and wine, when the spies of the revolution did report people for saying bread was expensive/they could not afford it, used Madame, Mademoiselle instead for citizen, to be murdered. The revolution was pure evil!! She is a Martyr. For the King and Queen! For the Monarchy! Down with the republic!!

She may have been silly and frivolous but was probably almost wholly naive to the political situation and abject poverty around her. She (perhaps the king as well) was very likely to be sheltered from local news.Like other wealthy women, even up to the time in Victorians, she had absolutely nothing to do all day. No job, no house to maintain, etc. And as with other wealthy women in that situation, her mind focused inward so that her only entertainment became silly amusements that she could invent for herself. It’s a tragedy because had she been allowed, the mature queen that was executed might have done a better job at ruling, having a learned about hardship and suffering.

What I understand, the Queen and Albert had a passionate sex life and that the queen enjoyed every bit of it. Would she put that privet joy out of her life and only have that handsome kilt bearing Scotsman for "tactile cuddling"? I also heard that in her casket she hold a lock of Mr Browns hair and on her left hand ring finger wore Mr Browns mothers wedding ring. Her left hand covered by flowers when she was on lit-de-parade.

Someone needs to tell Helen Rappaport that one cannot "Definitely think". It is one or the other, I am surprised at this shocking understanding of her own language, and before she goes speaking on tv again, she needs to learn correct English.
