Great question @smiththomas64 as we also stayed at a condo next to Las Gemelas at Girasol Sur: th-cam.com/video/QnyelEZL7ho/w-d-xo.html <--- our condo tour. The restaurant had good food and service at reasonable prices and of course it has amazing views. Andy always enjoyed having a drink at the poolside bar while waiting on me :)

She obviously didn't research well. We get a condo there every year for $55 a night. The little restaurant is excellent. Yes it is older, but an incredible area to explore. They just didn't realize it being 1st timers.

@@micheledoty7252 Yes she paid quite a lot for that studio, but it is such a beautiful place.

It was 100 pesos one way to go to Quimxto Beach from Boca. You can take the local bus from anywhere in PV to Boca for 10 pesos. A local recommended we only purchase the water taxi one way because if you buy return, it's sometimes hard to get the same guys to pick you up. So best to pay as you go.

Mismaloya is one of those gems everyone should see! We ate out a lot when we were there but never came across an El Tonos restaurant. But that doesn't mean it's not there. There are so many great restaurants to choose from that it's hard to visit them all! 😊

Totally agree with you! We messaged both owners and they never replied to us about anything again after we notified them about the insects. There is another comment on their airbnb page from another customer who also mentioned insects. It was obviously from previous tenants and was never fully taken care of. Loved the building ... but this unit had some issues when we stayed there. I hope they have been taken care of by the time you go!

In our case they were in touch with us soon! And the property was very clean. We never saw a bug there, but we always put the trash in the dump, because if we were always clean none of that was going to happen. the same in our home

Well we loved this particular unit! We qill back soon there. The owners are in touch both of then. And the property is in front the pool !!! We loved it. Thank you for the video! We took some videos but yours is complete!

@@luigimancini9860 LOL We kept the place immaculately clean during our stay. The bugs were there when we got there. There was fewer bugs by the time we left though. Glad you had a different experience. :)

We only stayed at this location for eight nights. We are currently travelling the west coast of Mexico looking for a city we like to buy a home.

We paid around $850 for the week at this particular location.
