    Thank you for this video. For the din plug you can user a standard 5 pin to RCA adapter (in left, in right, out left out right and ground) The last 2;pins (of the u shape) are for remote control if you use it with an B&O amplifier

    Nice! I have a B&O Beocord 5000 cassette player and it worked perfectly just some months ago then I haven't used it. Just moved it. For some reason when I turn it on, now the capstan is spinning constantly when power on? and when I press in a tape it tries to play and 1 sec after it just shuts off? Any idea why?? All the best! All clean and like brand new. Also for some reason I moved it like 1-2cm to put it onto the Beomaster but carefully, now it's super tight when pushing open the tray etc. Soo weird! Any help would be appreciated!

    FYI, when Columbia introduced the LP records in summer, 1948, they wanted an inexpensive record playing attachment that would play them, so they had these made by Philco. The idea was that people could connect these to radios or 78 RPM consoles.

    Those red things on the underside are transit screws to prevent the tray moving in transit. You’re lucky yours had the full 4. You didn’t point out the need to remove these in your video so others could damage theirs by unknowingly forcing the fascias or levering the tray to try to get it out. Maybe you can insert a section of text in to point this very important detail for new B&O users? Jb x

    • @arkadiuszweiss
      @arkadiuszweiss 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCR-300 The name comes from the military radisotation worn on the back, the soldiers gave this nickname because it was the first radio that could be carried on the back. Previously, the radio was not portable, it could be mounted on horses and on horse-drawn carts or a car. "walkie Talkie" is just a nickname, a soldier's nickname. Back in the day, all the boys wanted to be soldiers and all wanted a military radio station. He led to the fact that many toys of radio stations pretending to be "walkie talkies" were also produced, so after a while the use of this name in the army was discontinued, so as not to confuse military equipment with toy equipment, now the names radio, HT-handy transceiver, transceiver, 2- way radio. "walkie talkie" is an ancient name, derived from Nastalgia. The original radisotation, "walkie talkie" nickname was large, the backpack, worked in the band around 40-50Mhz, had a power of about 0.3W but the antenna was 1/4 full wave (160 and 320cm) and another removable and 0.5 wave. The 27 Mhz waves are 11 meters, the antenna with good efficiency is 2.7 meters and 5.5 meters, so these small handheld radios have a range of 2 miles despite their high power. With longer antennas and ground or counterweight, the range will increase significantly. . In a car with a 270 cm roof antenna (tin car), such a radio will have a range of 4 to 5 miles in an open area. More in the hills, less in the lowlands. The 460Mhz FRS and GMRS bands work better in the city but worse in the forest and worse in difficult natural terrain such as gorges etc. 460Mhz increases (many times) the range on the hills, 27 MHz is stable in the range. The range increases little and decreases little despite the changing terrain, which is why the military likes a low frequency. Good luck!

      Typical range for normal standard CB transceiver (2 to 4Wats output power) is 2 miles , 3 kilometers. Only flat, open space. Trees is ok, buildings with working computers, TV's generates high level interferences, reduces range. 27Mhz is for natural activity and save for your health - low freqency.
