Blaine deck is the perfect meta counter Everyone is with Pikachu, Celebi and Mew

The coin flip is the biggest reason I prefer the older variations of ponyta and rapidash. Even if the damage output is lower but guaranteed.

An upgrade for sure, but more coin flips.....not a fan

Idk why nobody is talking about new exeggutor, is Alakazam but you need a little bit extra energys, you can also use seperion and it would be only 2 energys to buff the hellout of exeggutor

Cut Giovanni and the Red Card to put in 2 copies of the new Sigilyph, it's just too strong! 80 HP and draw 1 for only 1 energy is pretty good for consistency, also playing 10 psychic Pokémon instead of only 8, increases significantly the chances of hitting a slab.

Mew ex with weezing, and new coffing is nice (you keep one Arbok line in there, too) You can run 2 copies in that just fine, too. Looks like the best way to run a more dedicated mew ex list.

I would say Mew is better on non-Mewtwo decks, since Mewtwo's Psydrive discards PSYCHIC energy, Mew not running in a Psychic deck would mean it won't lose energy. I've slotted a Mew ex in the Celebi deck and alongside Serperior it's been doing WONDERS as a counter option.

Whole time I was like Leaf 🍃 DUDE LEAF 🍃 mew’s job legit is to take damage to safely switch into Mewtwo ur probably gana draw into the budding expeditioner or just spend the 1 energy to retreat into mewtwo that Primeape Marshadow combo was very avoidable BUT I respect that mistakes were made and you still posted the video content not everything is perfect

I like how you insist on saying mana. I admire your commitment. 2nd you list a 2 supporter play. Happens to us all. The bench lock supporter will be good versus someone trying to solo wall and avoid being Sabrina'd in the long game

I took out red card and 1 Leafy and replaced them both with Pokedex. I found if I used Slab, I was bottoming cards I needed during the early and mid game, like Prof research and pokeballs. Dex help so that I'm not going in blindly with slab or if I needed to shuffle with a pokeballs.

I made the same deck, except for including a x-speed instead of a red card, which did give me the energy-advantage I needed to win a test match.

Mew EX is literally gonna be the most splashable effect in the game. It copies every busted attack except (maybe) Celebi

Seperior is worded so wrong. It doesn’t say it doubles the attached energy, it says each grass attached energy provides 2 grass. The way it’s worded, this shouldn’t work and that annoys me.

I thought liligant would be paired with Celebi, and Serperior would not work cause I read its ability to be +1 for any grass energy instead of all grass energy giving +1 but apparently not.

Leaf doesn’t make sense since only serperior requires 2 energies to retreat. Also serperior ability doesn’t stack so I’m not sure about having two in a deck apart from getting more chances to draw it

I tried the deck and i think it’s too OP, even without Serperior you can do a lot of dmg early. When there is a Serperior the match is basically over

This is definitely the deck I expect to be popping off the most from the new stuff. I am curious to if there is a reason for no Dhelmise as I was expecting to be on at least 1 since it is a 100 hp single attacker that swings for 90 with Serperior out

in the second match, you shouldve sent alakazam out then sabrina to kill the magneton because it had 3 energy and raichu had 0. raichu wouldnt be able to do anything

I got to 4 wins with this deck so fast then went against a Blaine deck on my 5th match and never drew a second basic Pokemon 😭. I Koga'ed my wheezing off the board to concede. Despite that I couldn't get passed 3 wins with any other deck before so you helped me get my silver emblem Thank you!

I have questions about the match making. Every time i win 3 in a row im matched up with a God Tier level 30 Japanese kid with every up to date medal.

I used butterfree.... it worked.

Exxegcute is better than you think. Since it requires colorless energy, you can splash exeggcute + exeggutor ex in any deck for a 1 energy investment and luckily do 80 damage while you charge your main play

Additional thoughts: Aerodactyl is kinda bad no? - Evolves from a fossil which cant be searched off pokeball (and cant rig it to start in opening hand by playing no other basics) - Can still evolve on the Bench, which most stage 2 evo decks do already anyway - If you lose the coin toss then your opponent might just get to evolve first before you can evolve into it. - Doesnt effect decks that dont evolve much Idk what are your thoughts?

I ended up using greninja with 2 articuno and 1 articuno ex for the event. I have since changed it to tentacool and tentacruel since i saw someone trying it. The poison with water shuriken is crazy.
