    I have no idea who Liv Schmidt is, I accidentally came across your video, namely autoply and today's algorithm. I listened to you until the end, but I have to say that I do not agree with you on all points, and that it would be cool of you to allow this one warning in your comments for all those who put health before appearance. So in order: 1. to claim that sugar is more harmful than artificial sugar sweeteners when almost everyone and their mother warns about artificial sweeteners!?. 2. Peanut butter is contaminated with aflatoxin. 3. Low fat yogurt is heavily processed, sugars and flavor enhancers are added to it. Stay healthy and beautiful.

I used 1 lb dumbbells but could not even finish 2 sets of bicep curls when arms completely gave up :( My MIL did 3 sets of curls with 20 lb dumbbells!! Her biceps are very thick and bulge powerfully like yours!! I feel quite low and defeated.

    You're missing the point. You're right that nobody thinks that Lunchables are particularly healthy, but here's a product that's being advertised as a healthier alternative when it's really not. So the issue here is that people might be tempted to choose Lunchly as the "healthier" option when, in reality, it's still crap and they're still feeding their kids processed garbage. It shouldn't be advertised as being healthy. If they were so concerned about kids eating healthier, they wouldn't have released this product in the first place.

    I had to get comfortable with the idea of wasting food to combat my bed actually. I grew up in a food dessert so i have eaten rotten food to avoid wasting it. I personally don't think its bad to toss something if the alternative is you eating more than you wanted. I was thinking about this at brunch the other day. I got an egg akillet and it was 2 meals worth of food so they can charge more. I can't go out to eat and get a me sized meal of food, or a cookie that is an appropriate portion or anything so my options become split it(what if my husband wanted something else) eat twice as much and not lose weight, throw out half of it, or restrict myself and get the urge to binge. If it cones down to it, tossing it can cause the least waste sometimes because it limits my risk of binging. You would still be wasting the food, youd just be wasting it by putting it on your body rather than in the trash. Thats my perspective anyways

    Potassium & magnesium are really important to take. Especially if you are drinking too much water which flushes important salt etc. If you dont like wasting money fro. Buying a $5- cookie...You can keep the cookie & eat a few bites & put it in your glove box or locker, purse, fridge later or shsre it with someone else. chew up the rest of the cookie & spit it out but if you are the kind of person who feels guilt about wasting fokd. Then just take some & give the rest to a friend. & the guilt is gone. A nightime workout can either wake up up or exhaust you so a nightime workoit could mess.up.tour sleep schedule. Yes walking is good & weight training can actually strenghten your bones for older age too. Even in europe they eat like the schmidt girl does. Its alot healthier to eat like she does. Than To go to mcdonalds for 2 meals a day. Funny she was banned over portion control advice when its alot morw dangerous the way we all eat on a daily basis.

    Okay I’m going to admit this publicly, I am addicted to iced coffees and chocolate chip cookies. I make and consume both every single day 😂 And this is horrible to admit and insanely unhealthy. BUT a few years ago I just let myself do it, I didn’t limit myself. I had all the coffees in a day and cookies on a tray I wanted. I’m a stay at home mom and life gets..redundant. So I’ve been 135 most of my life. And I’ve always been a strictly water drinker until I discovered coffees some years back. I just love water and nothing else quenches my thirst. So I’m lucky that I’m not having to combat that craving. Anyway I ended up gaining twenty pounds. And then thirty. And once I was nearing forty lbs, I was still perfectly fine with how I looked, I gain weight everywhere else before my stomach. I’m lucky there as well, I understand. So my big butt just got bigger. And after I stopped playing fifteen years of softball after college, I stopped working out too. I’ve never looked back 😂 I spent my whole life working out and was so done. I’m not sedentary but I don’t GO work out. Anyway I desperately looked for ways to lose some of the weight where I could KEEP eating my horrible things. And still not have to put so much time and effort into working out. All I learned and what genuinely worked, I found a masked man TH-camr lol and he got me there. All I did was stop drinking the coffees for just a couple weeks, ate less cookies on the tray. And most importantly, only ate when I was hungry and only ate until I was FULL. And you’d be so surprised how many (all of us) of us eat just to eat. And eat Well beyond being full. Even watching my own family as I fed them, seriously freaked me out. And none of us are “fat”. You’d be surprised how few bites it really requires to just feel a fullness that is satisfying enough. It trains your body to be okay sustaining just like that. Which inevitably leads to less intake than output. I think I said that right 🤔. Oh and the masked man also said sometimes your stomach just wants some water. So always try water first. This wouldn’t work for everyone obviously but it has me. So now every year until pre summer months I do the same shit. This is the bad bad part… and then when I need to get back to normal, I just do that again. And yes it’ll probably kill me early. But I’m happy this way. As a full time mf mom, I get so few moments of bliss lol and these are the ones I’ve chosen. But yeah just cutting one thing out or down helps tremendously and gets you to a point where you think you can handle another. I watched my mom go from drinking a twelve pack a day my whole life to switching to making iced teas and walking a tiny bit every day and she lost SO much weight. And that’s literally all she changed. Start with one thing if nothing else seems doable I know the creator knows this but different people may find it helpful.

      Hey omg thank you so much for this detailed comment and for sharing your story! I relate to it for sure and it's nice to see how you've implemented small changes into your life while still allowing for the foods you enjoy (I also personally could never give up the foods I love so portion control is important for me). I also think it's interesting how different people choose things that make them happy - I don't drink much or smoke or anything but I loveeee ice cream and could never give it up! Hunger cues can be so hard to read but it is such a great thing to learn when you're wanting to eat jsut to eat and when you're actually hungry. Awesome input here, thank you again!

      @@AspasiaFit That's the thing - I think *size* is exactly the issue here. Most women who switch from weightlifting to pilates are trying to avoid getting bigger. Granted, we all have different definitions of what it means to be bulky, but you can definitely spot the difference between a "heavy lifter" and a "pilates princess" a mile away. Which one you want to look like all falls down to preference, but the resulting looks are totally different. Is the body still strong and adequately challenged regardless of which one you choose? Yes. Do you get the same aesthetic results from both? Absolutely not.

    I disagree with the mineral drops. Our water supply in the US is highly depleted of minerals. Once I started to incorporate mineral drops into my water I now no longer have to pee every 5 minutes. My skin has improved, and the dark circles under my eyes have gone away. I’m also not thirsty 24/7. I highly recommend mineral drops to everyone!! ❤

    Regarding taking a few bites and tossing the rest, truth is that sometimes, especially in the US, a portion is huge. For example those viral crumbl cookies have 700-800 calories each, while a sedentary person only need 1600-2000 calories a day, that one cookie is a whole meal in calories, but without any nutrients. Personally I cannot control myself, if I get a chocolate bar, a box of cookies, even a bag of dried dates, I will eat until I feel sick. And then I'll finish the rest a few hours later when I don't feel sick anymore. While it is wasteful, sometimes tossing makes sense. I've been considering getting a lockbox with a timer that can be locked for many days...

    • @AspasiaFit
      @AspasiaFit หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks so much for your detailed commentary! I 100% relate to not being able to control myself once I start eating something (for me it's chocolate and ice cream loll) which is why I'll get higher protein/lower calorie versions of those so I can eat more of it! But I've definitely also been guilty of throwing food away after a few bites. I just personally wouldn't promote that to anyone else online you know? I also agree the portion sizes are CRAZY in the US so stopping when full and taking the rest home is something I've been working on recently as well!

    I don’t use electrolytes, I keep a little dish of Celtic or Himalayan salt by my bed and eat a small pinch of it when I wake up and drink a bottle of water. I do this a few times a day and have noticed I don’t have to get up to pee every 20 minutes like I usually did. Water for 1000s of years has had minerals in it, but our water now is filtered to within an inch of its life and has very little trace minerals. You don’t need sugary electrolytes but a little mineral salt is great. Your cells need those minerals to absorb water, otherwise it just flushes right out.
