I wish people would build smaller homes with a similar level of style and ornamentation instead of everything being builder-grade beige and grey with no moulding or trims.

There is something about the Interior architecture of it that I do not like, but the 2:05 one is stunning and also the outside.

It was a beautiful house. Too bad they had a huge fire in 2022 that destroyed much of the house. But it was beautiful while it lasted!

Pleasant tour of one of the UK's sort of Gothic revival exterior meets a faux evolutionary interior, the pretense that it had "been in the family" for centuries and had received stylistic updates, e.g. mill worked 18th century panelling here and victoriana influences there admixed with retro mullioned windows....terribly amusing to those of us with authentic old piles. However, the tour is delightful and the ground floor common areas panelling seems to have French influences which are charming.
