      It's not a great ending either way, because Rose's acceptance of the situation is very hard to believe. In theory she could become more sentimentally attached to the clone than the original, due to shared experiences that the original could not relate to, but they made him a human without a TARDIS. FOMO much? What's the immortal one up to? All she has is a human who can't travel and will certainly die if he does somehow conjure up a time machine. That isn't the life she wanted, even if we'd all love to believe our partners would stay with us through such major circumstantial changes. They should have found a way for the clone to get TARDIS coral AND be a regular Time Lord. Rose's interest in him is otherwise a really hard sell.

      @@illshouyu What if Bad Wolf made Rose immortal... God that would be heart breaking for her unless she found a way back to the prime universe... if she did she probably already would have, but a girl can wish.

    • @illshouyu
      @illshouyu 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Comfy_GlitchX that is pretty sad and interesting to think about. It's totally plausible that she gave herself the ability to live as long as the doctor. It's definitely the kind of thing someone emotionally compromised and with absolute power would do. She might not even know it worked until much later.

    • @Comfy_GlitchX

      @illshouyu yeah especially if she stopped aging at around the age of 25 at first it could ne explained as great skinem cate but eventually it would be noticed bu everyone that she isn't aging anymore

    The first episode of SJA was in 2007 and I remember 7 year old me would come from school and watch the show. Its 2023 and 17 years later I'm back to watching the first episode, how time flies is an understatement but she will always be the best Companion by far. Her legacy lives on. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN ❤️❤️

    Interesting that in the Impossible Planet a few episodes earlier, when they first realise they are trapped without a tardis, the Doctor tells Rose “they were grown not built”, dropping small hints to a plot point they didn’t include in the end

  • @VirtualKnight64

    In other words, the inside of the TARDIS isn't inside the TARDIS at all, it's in a pocket universe outside of reality and the outside of the TARDIS contains a portal to the inside.

    I probably miss heard, But even if you eccelorate the growth rate by 59 that's still upwords of 900 years, therefore the TARDIS regrow would be obsolete by then especially if you havnt got a timelord to open in upwards of 20. Whole generations of meta crisis kids, Anyway though I probably just sound like an idiot you would need to create something that excelerates time within a contained bubble how hard is that?

    This was the first episode of Doctor Who I ever saw in the mid 80s. I watched it on one of those portable tube shaped black and white TV's. It aired on PBS, and I loved it from day 1. Also around the same time I discovered Jeremy Brett as Sherlock.

    I always liked Sarah Jane Smith on Doctor Who, and when she made an appearance on one of David Tennant's Doctor Who stories, I was overjoyed! She did look the same, only older, of course. I wrote her a few letters, and I was in awe when she actually wrote back! I cried terribly when I learnt that she had died in 2011! She was gracious, and kind, and she took time out of her busy life to write me a letter! I miss her! ~Janet in Canada

    My first Doctor was Jon Pertwee and I now know that Katy Manning was my first companion, who I love to bits. But for years I thought Sarah Jane had been my first companion. Until I saw some repeats of episodes that where Jo Grant, that in my memories I'd always remembered being Sarah Jane. She'd had that much of an impact on my childhood. I'd replaced Jo Grant with Sarah Jane (sorry Katy 😕). I may had forgotten that Katy had been my first companion. But I'll never forget they day I heard Lis had gone. I used to have my radio wake me in the mornings and this day was no different. I remember laying in my bed listing to the news that's Lis had passed away. I layed there looking up at the ceiling. Tears pouring down my face. Rivers of utter sadness. Normally the news of an actor passing away may make me feel a little sadness. But I don't normally burst into tears. That news really upset me. Especially as her death seemed to come from no where. Because Lis had kept her Illness a secret. Even from her fellow cast members. So everyone was were shocked. Even now, when I watch things like this, now almost 10 years on, I get upset and cry. I will always miss Sarah Jane. But most of all, Elisabeth Sladen. She gave Sarah Jane life and had an impact on so many young girls lives back in the 70s and the 2000s and I shall always love her for that!

    So Rose and 10 100% no doubt is in a Relation ship, so if they have kids, they could birth a new race of Time Lords, much like River Song, Also, Is Gallifrey gone on "Petes World" ?, if not maybe the DR of that universe is just a regular ol Time Lord.

  • @HeyItzZedd
    @HeyItzZedd 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I really like this scene, but i feel like i would like Meta Crisis more than the actual doctor because he was actually willing to kill, because finally the plot knew there was no way to do it without killing, but of course plot was like "Oh no no we cant have the Doctor kill, so we'll make an alternate version of the Doctor and have him kill, and in that say that hes no longer the Doctor" BBC just needed a Fake Doctor to fall back on for plot, poor guy.

    Beautiful words from one of the two actors who best portrayed the doctor on-screen to this day - no need to name the other - and regarding the actress who was without doubt the most iconic companion in the Who universe. It comes as no coincidence that she got to play alongside them both. Liz Sladen will forever be Sarah Jane, one of the best female TV show characters alongside Diana Rigg's Emma Peel. I miss these two actresses dearly.
