We were trying to take some still pictures of the bike on the hill.... I had put the front end up the hill a couple times and hit the front brakes to hold it there, and it would just slide the front wheel back down the hill.. So I decided to get it up the hill and kill the engine, so it would stay there... It worked.!! There isn't a kill switch on the Sprint so I had to just roll off the throttle and let it stall.. The muffler dug into the ground and acted like a kickstand.. So we took some pictures of me up on the pegs, and it actually looks like I'm riding up the hill... It was a fun photo shoot...!!

Very nice bike! RIP Michael Parks, then came Bronson was one of my favorite shows back in 1969 when I was 14. I actually did by a new red Sportster in 85 probably because of that show subconsciously. I wish I would have kept it!

I remember that show, I was 10 when it came out, certainly captured my imagination and every other 10 year old kid around. I think it came on in September and I lived in Palm Springs. The week after the first then came Bronson show every kid in town had a beanie cap and a leather jacket, in the desert in September, which is fairly warm weather. There was also a grown up guy that used to dress as Bronson and ride around. Us kids used to yell, " hey Bronson" and he would wave. Im not really sure what captured our attention so much or why an adult rode around pretending to be Bronson. I saw it on TV a couple of years back. When I saw the listing I was so excited, then I watched a couple of the shows and they were pretty bad. I understood why it only lasted a year. Still not sure what captured the imagination of so many from that show. I know it got a hold of me at ten but I cant really remember a specific thing that said to me: I am Bronson. Still amazing though that it touched so many.

Loved and watched the show, loved that bike. You did a fine job with your replica. Where did you find or did you make the decal of the "all seeing eye"? Was it hard to locate a 1970 HD Sportster in running condition? Good luck with it.

I had replica EYEs made, I still have a few if you would like two. Contact me on Facebook under Boots Kowalski. I got lucky in 2008, when the bike was on Ebay for $3K, I called the guy and paid him via Paypal, and he took the bike to Pittsburgh to a friend of mine, who also has a BBike (Greg's Bike). Over the last 5 years I have spent about 15K making all the changes. on JB.com you can see how to build a BBike. Hang in there!

I sat on the original Bronson bike back in 1970 when I was 16. It was in the Harley Shop in Galesburg, Illinois and it had ropes all around it with signs, Do Not Touch. I rode a 1969 125cc Rapido, A Harley Davidson too. I put 23,000 miles on that bike in a single year driving it back and forth to Chicago and to Northern Wisconsin. The owner of the shop was looking me and how I was dreaming about the bike and then he said, go ahead and sit on it. I didn't hesitate one second. I thought that the bike was supposed to be absolutely in perfect condition, but on the inside of the popes, near the frame and the rear foot pegs there was a small dint and scratch on the pipes. I wasn't disappointed though, Bronson was my hero and mentor and the chance to sit on so famous of a bike was just outstanding. Thank you Gerald Wright, the shop owner, I still think of that moment and opportunity. C. Jeff Dyrek, Webmaster, Disabled Vet.

That is very interesting about you being on the South Pole. I have worked on North Pole Expeditions from 1999 to 2012 and was the Expedition Leader of the 2005 Expedition. But, unfortunately, I'm a disabled vet and that kept me from going on any more expeditions after that one. I still ran the sales and other parts of the expeditions from my office. Contact me on Facebook, Jeff Dyrek. Thank you.

yeah, the video cameras always make them sound as if they are running on 3:1 oil. Three years ago Temple and I rode a 600 mile trip from Stockton to Big Sur and back, thru Hollister, and blew the rear head gasket, we rolled back in after 200 miles on one lung, at 60 mph, two up. The 883 is like the energizer bunny, you cannot stop them!
