Kylidge McNally
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 30 ก.ค. 2022
Hey! I am Kylidge, a third generation cattle rancher from southern Saskatchewan. I am currently studying Animal Science Technology, Majoring in Beef Cattle at Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB.
We raise commercial Angus and Hereford cattle on our operation, and grow all of our own feed. My videos take a look at what "just another day" on our ranch is like.
I have been making TH-cam videos since 2016, and this is actually my second account as my first account "KyFarmerman" got shut down by TH-cam.
So enjoy the ride and maybe you`ll learn or see something new out of the deal.

@@tyerock7851 yup
So next year freezing your butt --school wasn’t that bad!!!
@@barneyshort8227 U of S wasn’t that bad compared to Alberta. Don’t know what I was thinking when I transferred….
I’m a cowboy at school same as you I know what you mean about coming home fat and out of shape I know I sure do 😂😂
Good morning, Kylidge. 👍
@@leeforeman3656 Good morning
calves and cow look like they had a great summer.. nice price when selling this year
@@brentbernath7257 Thankss. Yes some amazing prices
How's the traffic for herding the cows home? Hopefully no a-holes making things more difficult than it should be lol
@@farmingnodak Didn’t meet any vehicles on the grids. Crossed over a two lane highway and only had to stop 3 cars for a couple mins. Saturday we will move across the 4 lane highway. That one we will have to stop some traffic….
great looking group of cattle... will be nice to get them home... market is very good for calves this year
Were they all cooperative when you got to the highway? I can remember the one from two years ago when a few of them I assume got spooked, and you and Leyton had to chase after them. It was snowing also.
@@benedict_323 We won’t cross over the major highway until this Saturday
@kyfarmerman I hope it all goes well.
Good morning, Kylidge. Camera quality is mint. Nice cattle drive. 👍
@@leeforeman3656 Thankss
Best of luck with this school year and above all travel safely, keep your eyes peeled for critters in the dark.🫎🦌🦨
Brings back memories of times that were simpler and family times with my 3 brothers
@@barneyshort8227 Priceless memories
Picture is pretty nice on your video. Nice getting the critters home, one more step closer to payday. 👍🍻
You probably should've made it a one minute Shorts video.
@@benedict_323 I thought this would of showed up as a Shorts one but I must of screwed it up somehow
Nice video, Kylidge. The bale count sounds good.
Eavening kylidge...getting it done
It must get very windy around your area? I could hardly hear you at times. It's still a good video, though, Kylidge.
Hopefully you got your bales hauled home and must getting ready to wean calves there. We just hauled home 1/2 of the herd today, rest come home tomorrow. Just about time to separate them.
@@chadtosh6831 just over half of the bales are home. Weaning next weekend
@@kyfarmermanweaning next weekend too, gonna send a liner load of the biggest steers out and background the rest of the calves I think for the winter.
This just showed up. Friday November 1st! Had our first frost early this morning! Most farmers in southeast Iowa had great harvests this year, both corn and soybeans! Been hoping you and your Family are all well! Thank you for sharing Friend! Have a great Fall up your way! Mark in Iowa.
@@marksmith4582 thanks!
Good morning, Kylidge. Nice video. Your hay field looks great. 👍
@@leeforeman3656 thanks!
That fence post puller did some amazing work this year. How many poles did we end up pulling from my place?
@@TheForkliftGuySK I’m gonna take a wild guess of 130
Glad to see you back. I thought maybe Ridge cow had fallen on you and couldn’t get up…..

Morning...a little late but not last
Good to see you back! I was heading off to bed, and I received notification that there was a video. I hope you enjoyed the Canada Day or Dominion Day as some Canadians still liked to call it or want to call it. Hope all is well with your studies.
Good morning Kylidge. Good to see you!!!
can you post a link to where you purchased it.
@@klm3030 Google BAM Enterprises. Will have to find your local dealer for them
I think you went to parts of the property I have never seen you go before. Have you ever asked the bloke who does the bee keeping if you could have a go at bee keeping? Something different to do.
Yeah some of it would look new since I was touring around on the gravel pit pasture that we just started renting this year. He offered that I could come along and see the bees so I might do it one day.
Our hay is looking good this year...but its late...july abd not even blooming yet
Wowee. I finally started cutting today. It’s go time in this corner of the world
Thanks for sharing another weekly video update Kylidge! Good looking hay. Good looking cattle too! Our local hay in southeast Iowa looks pretty much the same. Corn is really taking off now too. No tasseling yet, but the plants look really good! Independence Day for us is this coming Thursday, July 4th. Have a great week ahead! Appreciate you sharing this with us! Mark in Iowa.
Thanks!
Always plenty of things to do! We used garlic powder for the horses for years. Last year, we tried it on a small group and calves that were in a pen by themselves. We noticed a difference! Started with garlic salt for everyone this year. Done some changes last week. Using a different mineral with salt in it and adding the garlic to it. A little test, one section of just mineral, one with garlic in it. They have eaten more of the garlic. Now to keep them on it all the time. Have a good one Ky!
Good to know it works!!
3:42 but... yeah, so... 💁🏼♂️ Don't hold your phone while driving, please.
Looks like a Great All - around experience …Educational, Social, Scenic, Fun, Memories and Friendships made. Good video! Thanks for sharing!
Looks like nice scenery down south definitely would mind driving down that way sometime
I really enjoyed watching that the scenery was amazing. I wish you would've shown the border crossing from Canada into the US and back again that would've been amazing to see. Did you forget to serve your car before you left? I hope the transmission didn't course too much hassle. The montage at the end was also great to watch. Great choice of songs also.
I serviced my pickup before the trip, don’t worry. It’s been working good . The border crossing isn’t a great time to film, especially when I got my entire vehicle and all my luggage fully searched on the way home…
Looks like a fantastic trip ...thanks for sharing
Yep! This video was absolutely worth watching Kylidge! Come back and visit when you can! You’re welcomed with open arms! I really want to see more of Wyoming and what I can of Montana too! Mark in Iowa. PS. I got some great screenshots too! Mark.
Great vid!!! Be one I will review many times!!! Yes the connections with people is priceless!!!
Thanks!
Nice part of the world. Been through both a few times. Really like the Buffalo Bill museum at Cody Wyoming. Have the largest gun collection in the world I believe. Lots of nice country to look at.
That was a neat museum indeed
looks like a great trip.. always good to see other people and how they operate.
Indeed
YES! So happy you could visit us in the States! I’ve not been to Montana yet, but I’ve been across Wyoming several times! Wyoming is a beautiful state to visit and even live in! Low costs of everything in Wyoming! Really happy for you Kylidge! I would like to visit Montana one day! Mark in Iowa USA!
I can’t wait for this week’s video from the trip!
It’s gonna be mintyyy!!!
Have a nice trip your hay crop is coming along nicely
Glad to hear you been getting rain in your area. We got two inches Monday/Tuesday last week and it raining again today. We need some sunny hot days for a while but no-one is saying no to the moisture. Enjoy your trip to the U.S. The first thing you will find out is how expensive everything is with our dollar being so low.😮
U.S. stuff is cheap!
Post puller looks pretty cool. 👍
I hope you enjoyed or are enjoying your holiday road trip and the convention down in Montana and the other states you might visit or have visited. You should consider coming to Australia for a holiday and visiting one of our cattle stations and also see how farming is done here although I don't think it'll be all that much difference. The state I live in has the biggest cattle station in the world.
Hi from Wyoming tonight!
Hey nice sweater 😃👍👍
