Great video guys! I'm using shell lock caps with regular flight and stem setup. No more robinhoods and no more broken stems at all and you can buy a shell lock flight punch cheaper than a set of molded flight. Personally I don't really like the look of the molded flights, if you can customize your setup is much more fun.

Gian isent a pro pro like mvg or littler gian always hits a 1 or 5 while the real alphas dont

I will have to disagree. I started with folded just like everyone else and I found that they just wouldn't hold up. Either my stems would break or the flight would get damaged. Since I have switched to molded system (over a year ago) I haven't had to replace anything. Now full disclosure, I am just a casual darts player. I play with my kids at home and go out to the pub with my friends about once a month. For me, paying a bit more for the molded flight is well worth it as it is a PITA to change the stems/flights on a regular basis.

tried a lot of different ones don't mind the molded flights (L style) but found they all end up slicing when you get close grouping always go back to standard stems and flights

I've tried K-Flex but didn't like it to much. So I went to Cosmo fit gear setup. Really happy with that atm.

I use K Flex and my avg and grouping has improved with them. Going to try Cuesol at some point to see the difference. Just subbed and followed all 3 on tik tok.

I dabbled with the condors but as i throw a light dart I felt they almost 'bounced' my darts away if they were going to group. When i tried with heavier wasnt an issue.

I use the condor zero stress and ive been using the flights for almost a year and theyre nearly like brand new still, and i play for 1h minimum every day, they have some scars on the flights but nothing more. They are a bit more expensive but i'd never go back to normal stems and flights, they do have some cons but all flight/stem combos have them. In terms of grouping they are really solid & deflections are also really really good. They do deflect a bit but not nearly as much as normal stem/flight combos and robin hoods are 0,0 with my condors. I recommend anyone who sees this to at least give em a try and you will be impressed, i promise. Oh ps. What i wanted to mention also is that i throw alot better with the moulded ones, and i believe that is the reason why alot of pros dont use them, because theyre used to the normal stem/flight combos. You need to change your throw a little bit with moulded ones, i believe because they're not as rigid as the normal combos. They flex quite a bit and i believe that changes how the dart flies somewhat, and also with moulded ones you need to use darts which are 2g heavier to compensate for the weight loss of the stems/flights :)

What dart tripod do you guys use?

Not sure if anyone mentioned the Robson moulded flight where you can use different size stems

I've found the Cuesoul Ak5's to be extremely durable, I agree with other comments about combining one piece flight systems with some sort of specialty point that has a trident or cone to avoid deflections. Enjoyed the video.👍

I use cosmo fit gear. Rocket insides, which are fairly thin and #3 carbon shafts, spinning. I'm actually trying out the S3 pros which have an extra lip around the edge to help them last longer before testing. I've tried the condors but I find them way too stiff and I get severe deflections. Enjoyed the video.

I have a very similar throw to Dan and just like that I’ll never go for a bright setup.Wonder why that is🤔

I use Lstyle carbon stems with the L1 ez flights and never looked back , £16 for the stems and £6 for flights every time they need replacing. Carbon stems are solid and no issues in the 9 months of heavy use only thing that has worn on them is the logo, flights are good but like most get chewed up is you dont have something like a storm point but keep their shape nice

24p Deflectagrip stems and 40p 100 micron flights. Super glue them in and you have an all in one for 64p.

Been playing darts for pub teams since 1978. Throughout the years, I was a regular 'Robin Hooder.' The amount of flights and stems I wrecked was ridiculous. I have only recently turned to moulded and I am so enjoying them. No more Robin Hooding. No more flights whizzing out. Yes, they are pricey, but I think well worth it. I chuck 32 gram darts and they are fine.

You're using two of the three worst moulded on the market. Fusions are so unstable. K flex and reinforced at the top of the flight which just asks for deflections. The other trash moulded flights are the Shot! Look and feel like something out of a Kinder Egg! I've used all. And by far, the two best moulded on the market are Condor Axes, and Cuesoul Rost T19. Axe's are so stable and take a HUGE kicking with ease. T19's I find a slight less stable through the air. But they have the softest flight going. Thrown in the mix that I solely only use Storm points now. Deflections are almost none existent. 100% moulded all the way for me.

Played darts over 50yrs, tried every type of stem and flight combination at present using the 8 stems for screw on flight, there great, better than moulded also cheaper as you can buy flight or stem separately

K flex are wank

i was getting robbin hoods sooooo often. that i had to by a pack of 9 a week... Moulded stems are the way for me. Not sure why i get robin hoods so often. Had my kflex for 3 month now. Cheaper for me.

Fusions are the best 👍

I moved from k-flex to stem and punched flight and managed to Robin Hood about 5 times in the first 3 days of using them

Great video and nice honest opinion. I tried loads of different molded set ups (Condor, Target, Mission, Shot) and as much as I like the 90 degree flight, I found that the deflections I was getting were more extreme. I don’t think I was getting more, but instead of going for a 20 and deflecting into a 5, I was getting deflections into a 12 or 18. The expense is a big factor too. I’m sticking with medium stem and punched, folded flights for sure. 🎯👍

Another note. K fkex and fusion are 7-8 pound on Amazon. Next day delivery. Getting hold of them isnt difficult. Buy 2 sets then if one breaks you have a replacement there and then.

Used many combos over the past 30 years playing. Ive tried most of the moulded and im now set on using fusions. I dont find i have any more deflection than a standard setup. The big plus for me is purely phycological, i was forever fiddling with and checking my flights when playing. Now i know they are always 100% right and my concentration is better. Playing better than ever. The fusions last pretty well, slight chips in the ends after many hours. I wont be going back to a standard setup any time soon.
