Safari and Chrome respectively, both on the same Wi-Fi. Thought it was a placebo, but when I pulled out my old laptop, the speed difference was shocking! See for yourself.
i can fix the problem just open and you guys may see the motor got broke just need super glue and then fix that happens on my fan to jisulife pro 1s but got broke thats why you need to lanyard that fan and careful using

Same issues, they are sending me a new one. So ill have a faulty one as a back up

I’ve fixed mine as well bu pushing the blade with 2 cotton buds and a gentle tap forward. 😅

It probably happened because the blade was pushed back and was out of place.
I fixed mine lol. I just played with the blade a little bit. I pushed the blade from behind using cotton buds and tapped the back hard a few times.
I did that, but it's still making noise.

M1 MacBook is super fast, but imagine how fast is the M2 Macbook
The difference won’t be noticeable. M2 is a slight improvement.
M2 ssd speed is less than M1
But It will only become slow when your laptop will start using swap memory i.e if 8gb ram has been fully used untill the SSD speed will be same as m1@@sakshamdeva6038
Safari loads sites before you hit enter, which makes the comparison not fair. Obviously no one is going to write stuff at the search bar and wait for a few seconds on windows, which means there won't be that much of a difference.
True. If you are looking for a more scientific comparison, the M1 scores 270 on speedometer 2.0 & I can guarantee you the Ryzen barely gets half that.
Does the HP Laptop have an SSD ? Also what is the RAM size in the HP ?
Yes, it does have an SSD, quite a rapid one actually, if I recall correctly about 2500Mbps reads. 8GB RAM on the HP - equivalent to the MacBook.

M1 is fast but for €400 cheaper I gladly go with the 4500U.
Yes, if speed is the only thing you care about, it doesn’t make sense. However, for 400 more, you get a massive upgrade in every other part of the laptop.
In your experience, how much faster, smoother and better overall is this m1 Mac over your 4500u. Is it worth the swap?
Absolutely. It’s mind-blowing to this day how this laptop just sneezes at tasks that would choke even high end desktop systems. It’s a total game-changer.
This isn't fair, because Safari loads the first result before you even click it.
Even if that’s true, it does not make it unfair. There is nothing stopping Chrome from developing the same feature. Safari can do it, and the MacBook runs it. You can’t run Safari on Windows, so too bad. These are the best web browsers on each platform.
@@JamesSmith-di4mc True, that's a nice feature but it makes your test more about the browsers than the chips. I'm on M1 MBA myself btw, not a Safari user though. :)

M1 is probably faster anyway, but have you clean the cookies for both machines before the test?
I haven’t, but cache and cookies will only help speed up both machines. The M1 was instantly loading the first day I got it, without having any cache, so it really is that fast.
