What State manual did use for this video? Illinois looks for a little more information in some places. Also in Illinois, there's been recent changes removing the need to mention items like the alternator, water pump, slack adjusters, push rods and a couple of other things. My pre-trip inspection instructor said that the State has dumb downed the outside portion of the inspection. I'm thankful. Maybe prior to making changes, it was observed that dummies like myself needed the revisions.

I got more out of this one video than I did paying $4200 learning automatic at this CDL school in NY. I feel scammed. BADGERCDL should consider creating schools across the country with competent instructors like the one in this video. The guy I "learned" and I use the word loosely would literally watch me make a mistake reciting inspection procedure and do nothing to correct me for like 10 minutes on end. Basically wasting time out of my sessions. Then ask me what I did wrong. If I knew what I did wrong I wouldn't of made the mistake to begin with! Some scam schools are out there. Do your due diligence and research schools before enrolling.

Should you block the wheels before releasing all the air out of them. Also you didn’t inspect the front passenger side wheel.

A few differences as a student driver here in Ontario. We're taught to always use the outside turn lanes, if there are 2 turning lanes for left and right turns. And we are taught never turn right on a red light, and to always wait for the green.

Glad I came across this video! I’ve been studying my ass off for my CDL I’m going to go take the exam at the DMV in about a week or so then shortly after schedule my road test and this video makes me feel so much better about it all!

I learned more from this one video than I did from 17 hours with my school's instructors. What does that say?
