There was a elementary school I went to in kindergarten that's no longer there now. I think it was built in 1967. Well, the Windows look like the East high school building. It can be seen on Google street view from October 2007, to September of 2015. It appeared to be demolished in 2015 or 2016. I do remember going there back in late 2014 to early 2015.
That's a beautiful, brand new Volvo wrecker, wow! My one of the bucket lists to do a demolition. Oops, class is going on, not today, it should be done over the weekend. It seems the backhoe operator is hesitant to do a complete demolition for a fairly good building.
Great video keep making great videos I like your videos I enjoy watching your videos keep making great videos I like your videos a lot keep making great videos
The amount of waste at the cost of the tax payers, seems to me this building could have been renovated probably for far less than the millions it cost to build the replacement for this building. People get it in their heads that somehow bright and shiny and new teaches better.
There is clearly some purpose in the deliberate and cautious process here. Whomever was doing this had a purpose in proceeding cautiously I agree with the comment that there might be a capsule. There is too great a value in the rare opportunity to raze such a building of brick on such a lot. Great training ground of 2 story demo.
Talkin about sum "the school was the oldest in the davis distract" that school looks like it wasn't even that old, and a matter of fact it look like it was built 2 days ago still could've been used.
My elementary school, Helen J. Neeley in Brookpark, Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland by the Cleveland airport) that I was student up until 1965, It was demolished in the late 70's to make room for new houses to be built. I was also sad to see that all the farmlands, wide open fields and part of the ancient woods, are now warehouses and office buildings.
Near the end, when they were digging shallow and sifting the soil gently from the bucket, they were looking for a time-capsule or something.. I believe anyways.
What a cool looking excavator

I thought you were going to demolish the school not do mostly do landscaping
Looks so much like my Elementary school, rip n tear!!!!! Destruction rules!!!!
Looked like a nice building, too bad it could not have been repurposed.
RUMOR has it they should have this school tore down in the next 7 or 8 years at this pace.!!! 😀😀😀
Maybe hitting the building would’ve worked.
This operator is very Green
WHAT WRONG WITH THIS BUILDING? AS TO WHY IT HAS TO BE DEMOLISHED???? OLD IS BUILT BETTER!!!!
That building doesn't look that bad of shape.
Not to be rude but this video is boring but kind of interesting at the same time
What a waste..nice looking structure..
I've never seen a 360 degree operator so slow

Why was this beautiful building being torn down???

Looks like a brand-new Volvo excavator, the biggest one. Breaking in on breaking that old schoolhouse up!
Using a bucket, hitting concrete breaks it
I think the driver needs to have a refresher course
i wish this was my school
We all do
🙈

If he goes any slower the School will be down maybe next year
Must have been that guy's first day wrecking something.
very good video thank you
I had to quit watching because that guy has not a clue how to do demolition work
the dream of schoolchildren to demolish the school
2:43 Small bump from excavator Man: woohoo
un vrai gâchis TRISTE
Every kid's dream
This guy sucks as an operator
Schools out Forever!
CRAP DRIVER
It seems that this operator doesn’t know any thing about the demolition

Only in Ohio 💀
What are the going to build on that space?
This finally putting me to sleep 👍

What's the squeaking
If I was there the first five minutes I wouldn't have left this dude is trash
wow this thing has alot of levers and buttons....hmmmm, wonder what this does
I don’t think this guy knows how to operate
Should have let the kid with the most detentions/suspensions do it, would have done a much better job.
Come on.... does this guy know how to operate. Takes forever to use toggles to start tear down
That was hard to watch, dude you need to learn how to operate that machine 😂😂
Pfff...
Ho Lee fuk really. 15 minute video and I didn't get to see them destroy anything but fucking trees. Jesus Christ. Waste my fucking time
Is he going to bury the fucking school or what?
