the second house just sold, it's across the street from me.

I notice the second house is currently a bed and breakfast. But I just find that each room is filled with a lot of stuff: too much, overwhelming the rooms and not allowing the eye to appreciate the woodwork. The carpeting and wallpaper with complicated patterns add to the sense of chaos.

It may be my old age, but I would also like to see fantasy dream homes that are smaller: 1000 -2000 sq. ft range. Super comfortable, perhaps even luxurious, but smaller.

What an extreme, contrasting house 1 with house 4. Polar opposites. Even the furnishings in no. 4 are heavy, larger than life, massive beams, massive bar, massive bed. O.k. The 6th house was really otherworldly; many of the lighting fixtures and furniture pieces causing wow effects. The stone arches are like walking into a cavern. I wonder how many people have been lost in that house. Will your GPS system help you find the way out?

Just wanted to point out that La Jolla is not a city, it is a neighborhood within San Diego. People always get this confused because the post office allows them to put La Jolla in place of San Diego on their addresses. This is why you would not find them on the Coldwell banker ranking because they are ranking cities. Also I believe Rancho Santa Fe is the richest neighborhood in SD County (and the U.S.) but it is not a city either. RSF is an unincorporated part of the county, so no ranking for it either.

House 5 one of the best looking houses on the island seconds only to one thats located on a cliff near Bar Harbor somehwere in the park (looks like a castle). Anyways these foolosh rich ppl in northeast and elsewhere spend all this money for houses that look like dog shiz whereas this house--esp-- on the outiside, looks marvelous. Its dubbed, East of Eden and formerly owned by the Ruger gun dude Rest of the houses look like simple cottages. Great for sure, but if ur going big gotta go where the ocean is

Re #2 -> Not a wire, rather b/c plaster walls, they hung the trim ~ 1/4" short at the top around the perimeter to allow for those hooks/wires to be placed where needed (instead of ruining the plaster). See similar in old school buildings and art museums, etc...

I stayed in House #4 "Redwood" in September 2019, took the whole Family up to Bar Harbor and we were lucky enough to stay in Redwood for a week. Wonderful, Magical House . Thanks for showing, Cheers!
